With that being
said, there's very little else — if anything — to dislike
about Destiny.
I mean just look at the Halo franchise, one of the greatest shooters ever made (relax, I
said ONE OF...) And going from Halo to
Destiny was a bold move seeing as you had tons of angry hardcore Halo fans just waiting for Bungie to slip up and release a wreck and go yell
about a new Halo game.
First person games like Overwatch and
Destiny show how small touches in character animation
say a lot
about the characters we play as, even if we can't see their faces.
I doubt a single person who waited for hours to play
Destiny 2 or CoD, or Final Fantasy, etc. were on the fence
about the game, they just want to be able to
say they played it first.
There was not much
said about Ana in
Destiny besides that she was a Hunter Gunslinger who fought at the Battle of Twilight Gap.
Reckon I'll be holding fire on Battlefront 2 — though I
said exactly the same
about Destiny 2!
Now the first point I don't care so much
about because if a game is fun I don't actually need to know anything
about it to enjoy it but I will
say that
Destiny's «mysteries» are flat - out lazy compared to the thoughtful world building that happens in the Souls games.
Say what you will
about Destiny's story (or lack thereof), voice acting, or any number of other complaints we've heard
about the game as of late, the fact remains that
Destiny is just plain fun.
What is disappointing
about this offering is that neither Tekken 6 (PSP) or Soul Calibur Broken
Destiny have online multiplayer modes (essential feature for fighting games these days), especially when there is plenty of fighting games for the Vita (Mortal Kombat, Street Figther X Tekken, DOA5 +, Playstation All - Stars, BlazBlue and UMVC3), It puzzles me that someone at the Plus team
said to himself: I really need to secure these 2 games for the Vita IGC, and then he pat himself on the back.
The first Iron Banner live event is currently running in
Destiny 2, and the fans have a lot to
say about the new Iron Banner weapons that are dropping left, right, and centre for them.
There has been some incredible new
Destiny 2 wallpaper released on the cover of Edge magazine, and I think it
says a lot
about what's to come in the title.

about this problem and again, Bungie is listening:

I don't like what I've heard
about Destiny 2 at all, to be honest, but without playing it for myself I can't
say I know personally, like your husbands seems to... It's nice to know that some games let the DLC just be «convenient» or provide a little extra story for a good price, though.
