They have been at pre-school for a year now, and for those worried
about kids still
breastfeeding at that age I can
say they don't ask for it at pre-school (too much other stuff running through their minds I guess), they don't get bullied
about it because they haven't told the other kids that they
breastfeed (too much other stuff running through their minds I guess), and when they start big school next year, if they are still nursing, I expect it to be much the same.
I think the medical community in general are not educated enough
about breastfeeding (OK, I am going to get a lot of flack from my Pediatrician friends for

And I am just
saying if people are hurt by her very hedged language, that was clearly supportive of
breastfeeding moms generally, they are either oversensitive or looking for something to get upset
about.
If they
say anything negative
about breastfeeding, they will incur the wrath of lactivists but they can rail against formula and most people nod in agreement.
Long gone are the days of nursing mothers being asked to cover up, of moms feeding their babies in the bathroom, or of new mothers
breastfeeding in the car because they're too worried
about someone
saying something derogatory.
