deaf from a variety of causes, ranging from chronic ear infections or injuries to drug toxicity and old age,

deaf dog that the state has used in law enforcement — and might be the first in the country.

say if they lack one sense, ie
deaf or blind, other senses increase to make up for their lack and this therory may be the same for
dogs.
