In physical cosmology, the term large -
scale structure refers to the characterization of observable distributions of matter and light on the largest scales (typically on the order of billions of light - years).
Not exact matches
Nanotechnology
refers to manipulating the
structure of matter on a length
scale of some small number of nanometers, interpreted by different people at different times as meaning anything from 0.1 nm (controlling the arrangement of individual atoms) to 100 nm or more (anything smaller than microtechnology).
From the mid-1980s on progress in nanometer -
scale science and technology exploded, and the term nanotechnology was appropriated by researchers, media, businesses, and funding agencies to
refer to any technology in which control of the
structure of matter on a
scale of nanometers to tens of nanometers to hundreds of nanometers in at least one dimension enabled unique phenomena and novel applications.
Named after the Greek mathematician often
referred to as the «Father of Geometry,» the Euclid mission will attempt to map out the large -
scale structure of the Universe with unprecedented accuracy and attempt to understand the exact nature of dark energy.
Despite these considerations, our results show good convergence between syndrome congruent
scales of the CBCL with
structured interview derived diagnoses of CD, BPD, MD, and anxiety disorders in paediatrically
referred ADHD children.
Conclusions: These results extend to a paediatrically
referred population with previously reported findings in psychiatric samples documenting good convergence between
structured interview diagnoses and syndrome congruent CBCL
scales.
In a sample of paediatrically
referred ADHD probands, ROC analysis indicated that the CBCL Delinquent Behavior and Aggressive Behavior
scales best converged with the
structured interview derived diagnoses of CD and BPD, the Anxious / Depressed and Aggressive Behavior
scales corresponded with major depression, and the Anxious / Depressed and Attention Problem
scales corresponded with anxiety disorders.
These results extend to a paediatrically
referred population previously reported findings in psychiatric samples documenting good convergence between
structured interview diagnoses and syndrome congruent CBCL
scales.
