Today, I'll feature
scarves,
which are an easy way to add a little punch to an
outfit while also keeping you cozy during transition temperatures.

That
scarf went just fine with my Shabbat
outfit (navy top and black skirt - both classic neutrals
which go with everything) and would go with my teal dress for the wedding (same color family).

outfit, its a simple Sunday look — a black and white dress from Loft
which I got at 50 % last week, new J.Jill scalloped ballet flats (gifted), floral
scarf and to add a little badness (
which I've mentioned before when styling a skull
scarf and 5 reasons to wear camo) I added this Betsey Johnson Skull Boss satchel I picked up at a consignment store a few weeks ago.
I wore it with a pair of ankle booties and a plaid blanket
scarf,
which have me wishing that all fall days could feel this good and all fall
outfits could be this easy.
The deep berry color and black seemed pretty saturated and heavy so I lightened it up with this sparkly
scarf which you've seen before (here) when I wore it as a shawl and I chose a lighter - colored bag to also help lighten up the
outfit.
I recently wore the top I made from vintage
scarves out to lunch with G,
which is the highlight of this
outfit.
To accessorize a little more, you can wrap a gorgeous
scarf or wear a long chain necklace,
which goes along with the colors of your
outfit.
All weekend I stuck to
outfits just like this one above — a cozy sweater, skinny jeans with just enough stretch, a light jacket, cashmere
scarf and super comfortable leather boots —
which were perfect for hanging around the house, perusing a craft fair and the occasional stroll through the woods.
Add to that a printed pink
scarf which complements your sweater for a more polished
outfit.
I tried out a casual
outfit with this
scarf earlier last week
which I posted on instagram (@stylebyada) and it felt so refreshing I thought «I have to do this again»... lol!
I really did try to wear a different
scarf and literally tried on all of the
scarves I own (
which is a rather unhealthy amount), but none went as well with this
outfit as my peacock
scarf.
When I took these
outfit pictures it was too chilly to leave my neck naked, so I picked this lovely cotton
scarf which recalls all the colors of the look, with Serenity Blue details on a Rose Quartz base.
Try hats and
scarves, there are certain ways of wearing a
scarf (like wearing it as a tie)
which can add length to your
outfit.
You can also choose one short and one long dress option,
which will allow you to tailor your
outfit depending on the occasion — maxis are great for wearing in more conservative countries if you've got a

It seems like this

scarf, skinny jeans, tall boots, and a floppy hat.
She paired her cut - out leggings with a fur trim

which she says is her favorite accessory to make any
outfit glamorous.
