feature prominently here given his cover placement will be disappointed to learn that the Machete star appears in a single
scene, amounting to little more than a cameo, which perhaps explains why the same
picture of him is used on the front and back of the case.
Extra bulk includes all the aforementioned materiel plus BD Live
features (My Chat, My
Scenes Sharing and Exclusive Content) and U Control (Thunderbolt Files,
Scene Explorer, Comic Book Gallery, Animated Comic and
Picture in
Picture), as well as a Digital Copy of the movie, compatible with PC, Mac and iPod.
In it, we see flashes of what appears to be a motion
picture — or an «emotion
picture,» as Monáe calls it — that
features actress Thompson in various
scenes.
Pictures has released a brand - new Paddington 2 trailer aimed at U.S. audiences and
featuring a few new
scenes of the plush teddy bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) at the Wes Anderson - inspired prison.
Even the original soundtrack from Benjamin Wallfisch (who has worked on the harrowing 12 Years a Slave and most recently Best
Picture nominee Hidden Figures) is deeply unsettling,
featuring angelic hymns from young women and ominous notes that heighten the eeriness of every single
scene.
The root and supplemental menus
feature a deleted
scene from the film of Henry trying to free his pants cuff from the wire leash of a mummified cat carcass (it's beautiful, perversely)-- you have to watch it for a while before you're allowed to select anything, and though you'd think that'd be maddening, it's a nice way to prepare for the
picture.
Though deceptive advertising is nothing new in movies, the DVD cover art of Coming & Going takes the practice far, keeping the wheelchair out of the
picture (save for the title logo's odd twist on the familiar handicap symbol), portraying the leads as young and hip in their jeans and tall boots respectively, and, most egregiously, placing a chihuahua poodle hybrid that
features in a single 1 - minute
scene front, center, and large.
Regardless, Williams» performance is so pathetic that the
picture's funniest
scene features Wanda Sykes in a quickie cameo.
The final, longest deleted
scene features a naked Quaid passed out on a bed post-tryst with a business partner that ends with a shooting, leading to the realization that for as overblown as much of the
picture is, it could have gone a lot worse.
An epic battle
scene was shot at Cahir Castle, while Powerscourt Waterfall and the Wicklow woodlands
featured prominently (a naked love
scene between Lancelot (Nicholas Clay,
pictured above) and Guinevere was filmed in a freezing forest).
The DVD's pitiful two bonus
features will leave much to be desired for that format's audience, while the Blu - ray's
picture - in -
picture commentary, deleted
scenes, and Easter egg go a ways to meet expectations on that format.

Tellingly, Signs also
features bookend title cards touting it as «An M. Night Shyamalan Film» in thirty - foot letters — it's a total ego trip (note Shyamalan's extended «cameo» and exactly how crucial it is to the film: the man makes himself the most important character in the piece), and no matter how beautiful it looks, how expertly its sound is mixed, how funny it can be, and how effective a few tense
scenes are, the
picture is a first - class disappointment.

An opening dance sequence set in a Cleaver American Fifties
features more stunt people, professional dancers, and trampolines than Cirque du Soleil, its artificiality setting the tone for the rest of the film, while the
scene's conclusion (with the
picture's hero trapping the celebrants in a giant dance hall, dooming them to death should a fire break out) serves as a pretty succinct summary of the film's feckless themes and carelessness.
