A new study from the UConn Rudd Center for
Food Policy & Obesity has just been released, and the study title says it all: «New
School Meal Regulations Increase Fruit
Consumption and Do Not Increase Total Plate Waste.»
The non-profit, founded by Whole
Foods Market, is working to help kids learn to love fresh, nutritious
foods, and increase access to and
consumption of these
foods in
schools.
It the proposed rules, USDA said it hoped to «encourage
