School Librarians Working Together in Tennessee, Texas and Arkansas to Advance ESSA State Planning
School librarians work every day with their school communities and need to use the language of administrators when working with them and developing their own leadership.
The implications of this project would indicate that when school principals, administrators and
school librarians work in concert as leaders, learning happens.
I think this is an extremely valid issue to raise as I know, for example, many
school librarians I work with wonder what this means about the books on their shelves.
School librarians work with every student in the school, teaching students to think critically, providing the resources and support learners need in school and beyond, and nurturing their creativity.
