For anyone new to
the school library profession who is trying so hard to accomplish miracles, it is understandable that we thrive on hearing anything that might remotely recognize our efforts and motivate us on those overwhelming days when nothing seems to be going right.

The real thrust of the project is to act as a catalyst for integrating the
School's history,
library collections and archival resources into the life and work of the Osgoode community by involving the students in developing and curating exhibitions, both physical and virtual, that illustrate the dramatic changes in legal education and the
profession over the course of the past century and document Osgoode's role in them.

To collapse the law
library into the central stacks is to obscure the special connection that the law
school ostensibly has to the legal
profession.
Judy Dunn, from the University of Toronto's i -
School, said that the book should be recommended reading for students going into the
library profession.

profession by holding memberships in leading organizations related to
school libraries and media specialists.
