@Nothing Changed i agree about 5 years ago, personally i'm finding our game exiting to watch with a strong belief that no mater what the score is we will win the game, obviously we don't win every game but the belief is there for me and i'm enjoying watching more then last season, we have to except that some teams in Europe are almost impossible to catch and City is coming close to that point of dominating years to come and only Man - U or Chelsea could muster up a small challenge, sad but unfortunately we have to face up to reality.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
And wins win you the PL Title Our defense including goalkeeper have been excellent and they have been giving us chances of winning but we end up losing or drawing many times because our goal scorers have been misfiring In my opinion, our strikers have been letting down the great work of Cech, bellerin, koscielny, Mert, Moneal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramey, and especially our Assist leader Ozil Mahrez and Vardy in particular have been dynamite this season for Leicester So far in terms of our Offense only Ozil, and Cazorla have been been of the same quality but they aren't goal scorers per se If Welbeck, Alexis, Walcott and Giroud can start scoring, then things can change Hopefully, they can start tomorrow COYG
you wont see a cazorla or a xavi losing possession, not only that but they drive the team forward.but unfortunately u hav players like ramsey, who do nt drive the attack like the above two, also he loses possessions sometimes by attempting fancy moves.its sad ramsey gives more importance to style over substance.unfortunately, i feel players like ramsey hav contributed to arsenal's inability... imagine a team like barcelona playing with him, constantly losing posession leading to conceding goals and so on.difference is barca's manager wud take them out, while under wenger u r rewarded with the nxt game!!!! i do nt deny he was top notch a season or two back, but now hes a liability imo and need to change his mentality.even that opportunity he got against tottenham where thought longer before taking a shot thus giving defender time to get to him and take off the ball.i bet if it was cazorla, arsenal wud hav scored...

Well your righ with met spend but in amount paid out for players no net were 5th but i agree our champions league performances have been poor we had some tough draws and the premier league is more demanding then the other leagues in strwnght of competition and games played still excuses do nt win but that monaco loss left me shaking my head in cl we get theough the group but cant muster the strength needed for knockout and we should be performing better were under performing for the talent xhaka has frustrated me hes got the talent and plays well but cant hold focus in games he drops off and loses his marks our academy is doing well but yes it is tougher now to break in to the first team iwobi has done well but one or two seasons away from being there if he does turn himself elite ever has to score or he will just be another ox but i think its been a wake up call to the club we finally have to act theres a wave of ideas to not only get us back to winning ways but become title contenders and i think give him the extension one year its a world cup year and that will also allow our players esp strikers who been very poor this year realized its tough to play in englad and next year will have a better idea what it really takes to win here shore up some spots and depth and were in contention fail and the changes will happen but let him have one more year the fact were willing to spend shows me an upturn from the decline
Kinda makes sense though, the only reason people are asking for another CDM is because we all fear the possibility of injury to coquelin and know flamini is usless, beilick is inexperienced so it begs the question what happens if an injury where to occur, but wîth how many midfielders we have in the squad i think it could allow us to change a tactical approach and potentially experiment with people like Ramsey and Wishere potentially playing a deeper role??? Ozil and Giroud are the only offensive players we have fit who could change the game, hopefully Giroud has the same boots on as last seasons game against Utd (well the ones he scored with anyway) and if Ozil does play, we need him to have a great game, I think he does get unfairly criticised at times but if the fans can't see him pulling the strings and creating chances then they might get on his back and his head could drop.

I think we did well today, we tire them out and Wenger brought in Gibbs for pace, which was a good change... If They hadn't scored in the first half and Giroud had put one of those headers away, it would have been a whole different match all together... I think Campbell did well, he might be a little slow but he is gelling well with the team and getting better, he doesn't just burst forward without purpose and when he did today, it took a good save from Iloris to keep it out and he got a round of applause from both the fans and his team mates, which to me is good and will only boost his confidence and that's one thing we haven't seen in quite some time, a proper right winger.

he got 100s of chances last year, but he only scored 30 something goals,,,, may be he will change some time later but this only works if he remains an arsenal player... if not i am definately sure that no boss can tolerate him as arsene did...... and also no fan can tolerate manager of the club as arsenal fans tolarated wenger.....
Amid delays that were based, in part, on political point - scoring, the system lasted only five years before the Welsh Assembly Government moved forward with a referendum to get rid of the LCO system and devolve further powers in one go — evidence, perhaps, that a system which requires the agreement of both devolved and central governments on policy changes might prove detrimental to effective governance.

As bad as it looks, the worst aspect of the entire film happens to be the horrible music, scored by Ron Geeson, which is not only uninspiring, it doesn't even seem to change depending on the mood or scene.
I also felt that the musical score was somewhat forced for the purpose of provoking on the emotional level and was only there to make up for the lack of it in the film, it did seem quite unnecessary in parts where I thought silence could have worked better, but thats not to say of course that it was brilliant to listen too, and the changes were spot on to suit the changes determined in the film but for a simplistic kind of story it seemed excessive.
