Then I grabbed
a scrap piece of plywood and started glueing the planks to it, putting glue on the back and both edges.

After they were all dried and set, I glued them to a
piece of scrap 1/2 inch thick
plywood.
Then the second
piece of plywood was attached to the corner
of the
scrap wood and
plywood to create an L shape.
I cut a
piece of 1/4 ″
plywood out, just more
scrap that I had on hand, making sure that it wasn't bigger than the
pieces I was going to put together.
I cut 2 gable
pieces out
of scrap plywood, and drilled a one inch hole in each gable.
Next, I used my
plywood scraps and a brad nailer to attach the two
