The PlayStation 4 will take advantage of the controller's touchpad for gameplay actions such as
scratching Lucky Tickets along with using the Share button to feature players» screenshots and videos.
While the Playstation 4 version will allow use of the Playstation ® 4 controller's touchpad for actions such as
scratching Lucky Tickets, as well as making and sharing screenshots and videos with the community, and using the Playstation ® Vita to continue playing the game even with the TV turned off.
Creatures — an assemblage of adorable animals that you can collect by
scratching Lucky Tickets that give out precious Lums every day.
Not only that, the touch pad can be used to
scratch those lucky tickets.

In addition to unlocking new stages, worlds and additional playable characters (including the cool new Viking girl Barbara and her sisters), there are also

Lucky Tickets that can grant the player additional Lums, Worlds (complete with stages) that go back to the setting seen in Origins, and collectable pet monsters, which in addition to being cutely designed, drop Lums every so often to get your score higher.
In certain parts of the game, it is VERY obvious this title was designed for the Wii U. Beating stages with a lot of Lums always gives you a
Lucky Ticket to
scratch, which will either reward you with a Creature, a Teensy, Lums, or Origin stages.
Collecting enough of them in a level earns you a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medal, as well as prize - dispensing
Lucky Tickets that you can
scratch off using the DualShock 4's touchscreen.
