Always hard to get
those screws out of drawers that I am painting!

This model does not require any
screws or nails, but rather uses a durable adhesive to secure the lock on the inside
of your cupboard or pull -
out drawer.
After the legs dried, my sweet hubby pulled
out the original
screws that came in the legs, and then, using new
screws,
screwed them into the base
of the
drawer.
Why did the
screws need to be switched
out when your hubby was attaching the legs to the bottom
of the
drawer?
I have had great luck with painting the entire
drawer, inside and
out, and hanging on the wall as a double shelf,
screwing the bottom
of the
drawer into the wall.
Try looking for a specific size and type
of a metric
screw and you'll tear your hair
out since the
drawers are usually either empty or filled with misplaced items.
So I used a piece
of cardstock and cut it to the dimensions
of the
drawer front and then I measured
out where I wanted my new pull and colored in the nail holes to show where I (and when I say «I» I mean Big Daddy) would pre drill holes for the
screws.
Place the
screws into the
drawer pulls so that about 1/2 ″
of the
screw is sticking
out.
