The
game has all the components of a good leisure side -
scrolling semi-strategy, with upgradable units, shops, money, grenade throwing and so on but it lacks depth:
there is no story really,
there is no premise, tutorials are silly as the whole writing overall, enemies are not explained (nor their skills), and strategy pretty much boils down to clicking on whatever units cools down first (to produce that unit and storm the enemy's portal).
The wide open plains of the Wild West (and, ultimately, Mexico) might appear to mimic the empty spaces that spoiled San Andreas but, as if taking cues from the likes of Elder
Scrolls: Oblivion,
there's pockets of interest throughout and eager
gamers will get much more out of the traveling sections, populating their journal with a myriad of side - quests as they go, and completists will no doubt find things hidden amongst the cacti and deserts that a
gamer rushing through will never even hear about.
Graphically the
Game shows nothing special, and given the other MMO contenders out

there's a good reason: SEGA hadn't ever attempted to actually recreate a classic Sonic
game, they kept throwing in gimmicks, using modern moves (such as lock - on attacks) and making the levels with a more linear design.
This
game has nothing on The Elder
Scrolls Online or Final Fantasy 14, as well as the plethora of other MMOs already out
there.
The
game has an interesting soundtrack that probably doesn't quite fit the
game too well and it literally has not audio dialogue so
there's very little in the way of sound to review, you get the generic 2D crafting sound effects which are amusing however and do contribute to the
game's humour a little, the gameplay itself is immersive enough that you can sink hours into the
game without realising it, though the menus can be a little tiresome to navigate as you have to open a close them to remove a misplaced item or constantly
scroll through all the many different items and topics you can choose from.
There will always be limitations on the Elder
Scrolls Online experience that keep it from the depth of freedom provided in the single player Elder
Scrolls games.
Little Inferno is not just a
game purely about burning things in your own home in the city of Burnington, which is constantly seeing snowfall and freezing cold as
there is a side -
scrolling side to this
game.

games were never my thing, its good to know ya don't have to play it using the guitars... you'd probably limit sales that way as well, since a shooter

there are still devs who are thinking outside the box as well as willing to still do side -

game and for years of continuous post-launch content that will be released for The Elder
Scrolls Online.

There is fun to be had with Earth's Dawn, and if you're a fan of the side -
scrolling action genre, you probably won't regret purchasing it.

I'd also like to say that Fallout, The Elder
Scrolls, and / or DOOM will be
there, but I feel like it's too soon for any of them, especially with how slowly both Bethesda
Game Studios and id Software like to work.
But
there are arcade rooms in which you'll be presented with a side
scrolling platform
game (that are, dare I say, perhaps a little more fun than the main
game!)
First
there was the Elder
Scrolls Online MMORPG (a WoW clone); followed by the Elder
Scrolls Legends CCG (a shot at the Hearthstone money pot); the Bethesda
Game Launcher was introduced in the meantime (quite similar to the Battle.net client); and Fallout 4 was more FPS than RPG, but lacked the extremely lucrative microtransaction - heavy multiplayer component.
In addition to the bewitching scenery,
there is also the promise of delving into the storyline of the Psijic Order; something that up until this point has not been explained very well or explored very deeply in previous Elder
Scrolls games.
That's not to say that
there isn't a noticeable grind, though, which I personally feel dilutes the elements of the Elder
Scrolls series that have been brought successfully over to this new model; I understand that it's a necessary evil as certain mechanics and the like much be changed in order to accommodate the addition of the MMORPG components of the
game but these new features often felt like an intrusion upon the established formula rather than complementing it.
With a heavy emphasis on boss battles and a reverence for the side -
scrolling shooters of old,
there is no doubt that Cuphead is my kind of
game.
If you've been holding off on picking up The Elder
Scrolls Online in the hopes that
there will be a definitive edition released at some point in the
game's lifespan, then The Elder
Scrolls Online: Gold Edition is the ideal point to jump in to the world of Tamriel and join the fight for control of the Empire.
There isn't much room for fancy design in an auto -

there was little to no question about who was going to take on this huge task of not only reviewing a Elder
Scrolls game, which in itself is a huge task, but a MMO Elder
Scrolls game.
There are new 2.5 D graphics to match the old side
scrolling game and new missions.
