The Nook allows both highlighting and note taking, too, but the
eReader Touch Edition does only highlighting, which means you'll need the keyboard when you
search for content
on the device, or try to buy books from the Kobo Store.
-- Better responsivness (when typing in a
search dialog box, or scrolling the books
on the device it is not confortable at all; I guess the issue is a mix of hardware / sowftware)-- No need of audiobooks: smartphone is perfect for audiobook listening so why is the need to have it
on ereader?)
After some lengthy
searching, I ended up right back at the application I used to use
on my old Windows Mobile phone —
eReader.

eReading Features: Other features include running
searches within a book,
on Wikipedia, and Google, adding bookmarks by tapping the upper - right corner of a page, adjusting contrast, and fast scanning through a book by holding down the page buttons.
When I first purchased my Pandigital
ereader I had most of my files saved
on my computer in pdf format but found that this format did not work well with the
ereader, so after some
searching I found Calibre and was able to convert all my pdf books to epub and transfer them to my
ereader without any problems.
I had found a book that I really wanted
on my
eReader (Kobo) but when I
searched for it, it was showing only available in Kindle and Nook.
Or a general belief that it's hard to
search through a varied selection of more than 300 ebooks
on an
