I think if LACAZETTE can keep this up, he's going to claim a place in the french world cup squad next
year, his goal scoring instinct is sharp, he knows he won't get
too much chances and makes use
of the few ones he gets and he was unluncky not to have scored against chelsea and his header wasn't a fluke, he knew where the post were and he directed the ball, he will be handful for defender when our complete squad starts and luckily for us he's not an injury prone player, having him, Sanchez (if he stays), Giroud and Ozil fit will be vital for us this
season and i see plenty
of goals..
I think Wenger is willing to use this

One
of the features
of the last few
years has been Arsenal putting a brilliant run
of results together and although it may be
too late for a title challenge this time, we still need to secure a top four spot, as well as having the knockout rounds
of the Champions League to think about — and the small matter
of defending the FA cup trophy won in dramatic fashion last
season to defend.
We've had a few properly boring races this

They are certainly a lot closer than Arsenal this
season, and they were last
season too in fact, but they are a very long way from challenging Man City just yet, and it is still ten
years since they won a trophy
of any kind, so they can hardly start bragging about being a bigger team than Arsenal just yet.
Kos has some moments
of greatness but this past
season he was totally underwhelming... not enough leadership provided,
too many dumb mistakes in big games, emerging injury concerns and provides next to nothing offensively (he should watch some Sergio Ramos video because that was what I was hoping from him a few
years back)... keep in mind, he is by far our best defender, which is problematic considering my previous comments
and frankly we might deserve this fate because we've let it go on so long... Gazidis is the equivalent
of a prison bitch, Kroenke is the destroyer
of all sports teams he touches and their are way
too many complacent fans who believe we are the only club in the world that can't find a suitable replacement (try explaining to fans
of clubs like Bayern, Barcelona and Real, who have had more manager changes in the last 4

its

Carle, who played 20 times for Bristol City last
season, including the playoff final, was happy to stay at Ashton Gate, but the lure
of a bigger club was
too strong for the 26 -
year - old:
On Loan * Akpom (depends on our striker buy) * Crowley (he needs to step up and fulfill his potential) * Zelalem (had hot and cold
season with Glasgow, would be great if he can be loaned out another
year) * Maintland - Niles (hot and cold
too, plus we are packed on the right) * Bielik (lets see what he is made
of) * Glen Kamara (Midfielder that is 21, it is a loan or he will be sold) * Stefan O'Connor * Mavididi (goes on loan so Malen can play first role in U21)
The 17
year - old looks like he will enjoy his time around the first - team squad this
season, and there will be plenty
of time to see exactly how good he really is, although with Wenger talking up his hopes for Takuma Asano, there may not be
too much room for another young striker within the first - team squad in the near future.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch
of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all
of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because
of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous
seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention
of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury
years ago and the excitement that was generated a few
years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any
of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away
too cheaply and far
too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure
of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez
of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Kolasinac was so «
too one legged» that he made last
season's Bundeliga team
of the
year, but is not good enough to play for Arsenal!
The 21 -
year - old joined Los Blancos from Real Betis last summer, but he's only managed to make 19 appearances in all competitions so far this
season, with many
of those outings coming off the bench
too.
There is no getting around the fact that this is a blow for the Gunners and pretty symptomatic
of the sort
of bad luck we have been getting on the injury front for
years, but I also think that it should not prove
too damaging to our
season, as long as no more defenders are ruled out in the near future.
Just like trying to justify ticket price increase by saying that they hadn't increased them for 3
years but failed to mention that they were
too expensive to begin with and that paying more for tickets at a club that consistently finishes empty handed at the end
of each
season just doesn't make sense.
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by
season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack
of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love
of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold
years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both
of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste
of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for
years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment
of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far
too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think
of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
The protests may not have been
too vehement but they have been around for
years and more so than ever this
season, while the main reason for most fans not being
too full on about it is because
of the respect that the prof has earned for his 20
years in charge.
I have always had a healthy respect for what Wenger has done for us over the
years but this run
of results is
too much by a long chalk and its time that his competancy and the boards ambition was called into question by any
of the fan groups strong enough to make a difference, theres around 200 million comming into the club next
season with the new BT sports deal and I am almost certain that this wont be spent on the players we really need nor will it be used to lower
season ticket prices, so where will this money go?
i have stop thinking about who will be selected as the new forward or CB, i am more pissed off on some players who have took arsenal for granted, a manager who had put
too much fate in them over the last
years, a manager who have left the team short
of quality in certain areas, in the hope that his prodigies will fill in nicely, which on the contrary does not happen and leave us wanting in the last months
of the
season.
«We didn't make believers out
of too many press people last
year,» says Flyers coach Mike Keenan, who last
season took over a team that was supposed to be rebuilding and led it to the best record in hockey, 53 -20-7.
The 25 -
year - old has scored 36 goals and provided 12 assists in 41 games for the Reds, playing a fundamental role in their continued pursuit
of a Champions League qualification spot while also chasing glory in Europe this
season too.

years has been
too many key players being injured during key periods
of the
season.
The final chapter
of the 2013 college football
season was befitting
of a
year that featured
too many plot twists to count.
It's
too early to know which players, such as fourth -
year junior quarterback Matt Leinart
of USC, might declare early for the draft, but here are the top five prospects who are now eligible, four seniors plus former USC wideout Mike Williams, who unsuccessfully tried to enter the 2004 draft after his sophomore
season.
When there was more competition in the form
of Sanchez, Giroud, and Welbeck, Walcott was only
too happy to run back to the wing and is now having one his best
seasons over the last 3
years or so.
also since montreal when gibbs got injured he was given plenty
of time to heal properly and not being rushed that, s why i think his injury record has got better with time, like wenger said we are lucky to have them both and kieran is an important squad player due to his versatility and will have a big part to play in the 2nd part
of the
season, also he is still young and will continue to improve learning from montreal and in the not
too distant future he will be our first choice for many
years to come, all he needs to do is to keep at it and be patient his time will come!!
I do think that the football media made
too much out
of Ozil's supposed lack
of form and effort last
season and then it became open
season on the 25 -
year old.
seems every
year we have extra long key injuries, messi gets his ACL reconstructed and he is fit to play 8 weeks later... i think theo misses 60 %
of every
season, I do nt get it,
too many players injured again going into a busy schedule,
We saw the odd flash
of the old brilliance, like the two goals that won the EPL goal
of the
season in successive
years, but they were all
too few and far between.
It is normally a fact that the team in front at the end
of the
year go on to claim the title, so do you think they going to be
too far in front for anyone to have a hope
of catching them in the second half
of the
season?
I agree mostly with what has been said, I do actually think that Lacazette is the cheaper and younger option which will obviously prove vital for Wenger and Aubamayang is a better player maybe but when you consider he will disappear every other
year to go and play in the ACON we would be losing our main striker for an important part
of the
season too often and that has to be a serious issue for any team
