season he was so delighted to be back from Charlton and in the team that he followed orders, was disciplined and stuck to his position WHEREAS now this
season he thinks he's a better footballer

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more
than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous
seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long
ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the
ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating
than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)

Besides several teams who have questions surrounding one or possibly two players, there is no squad that has so many issues heading into the final week of the transfer window... even Monaco, who have lost numerous players from their starting 11 have less controversy swirling in and around their club and they have champion's league play to contend with this
season... just think of how ridiculous this situation is especially considering that we have had the same manager for over 20 years... no team should be better organized
than ours... if nothing else, that should be the one advantage this team holds over all others, yet the exact opposite has occurred... this fact is even more disturbing considering the main argument against removing Wenger from his managerial position was that there was no suitable replacement and that people feared some sort of perceived drop - off if a new manager was brought into the mix... based on what we've witnessed since the time of his contract renewal a monkey with a magic eight
ball could have done an adequate job... I hate to make jokes, in light of our current dilemma, but this team is so screwed up if I don't laugh about it, the only plausible response is to either cry or do something incredibly destructive... just look around this squad and try to see what our delusional manager sees that allow him to make such positive statements about our current team
They'd rather wait for the one time it fails so they can bash You blame the manager for being favourist yet a fellow blogger praising a player he previously bashed is called being two faced You kill Ramsey for a blind pass attempting to enter the opposition final third yet you won't blame Sanchez for turning over the
ball in a pointless dribble with three free team mates You kill metersacker for deflecting a shot into his own net but won't touch kos for getting out of the way of a shot he could have sufficiency blocked You claim with no substantial proof that arteta, mert, Ramsey, can not lead arsenal anywhere substantial yet they have each at a point been a massive cause for stability and progress when called upon Even after reading this comment, you will ignore the fact that kos was awful until partnerd with mert, our defensive mid with song leaked more goals
than the one with arteta and we've struggled to win without him at least until late last
season.
giroud, lecoq, are gud backups to hve in the squad but not a first team player for a team wanting to challenge for epl.coq has got to improve slightly on the
ball but off the
ball he is gud.everyone knows about giroud and I don't think a gud striker is enough for us.we need a very clinical guy not a guy who will be going through dry patches coz thats guaranteed from a gud striker.gibbs is tricky he is a gud option to hve on the bench but if we scout someone younger and better
than him then I think we can sell him for both the clubs sake and himself coz he hasn't progressed as a player.what I find shocking is bellerin back up is jenkinson worth a team challenging for epl?I don't think so and we should find an able guy there
than fool ourselves and next
season we pay for mistakes again.
When Ramsey is playing well and he gets back to defend then I think we see more out of Ozil and Xhaka, I thought Ozil played better at the end of the
season than in the middle when the team imploded and that I do remember seeing Ramsey getting back more
than he did in pre
season Chelsea game, along with the extra CB to help win the
ball back, it has meant Ozil can focus more on finding space ready for when his team mates have won the
ball back.
... he played there against crystal palace, Everton 2
season ago and it was a disaster... our build up is majorly done closer to d centre circle
than d oppositions box... that's y girouds hold up play is vital... either we go with dat path or we look for a striker who is lightning quick (so when we make d final pass, it doesn't get wasted), uses both legs to shoot on sight, with good accuracy... playing Sanchez, who is not very good with his back to goal as a 9 is useless and though fast, holds on to d
ball a lot tryn to get d best angle to shoot... we need a striker who is very intelligent with d timing of his runs... too bad Walcott is as intelligent as a sheep, cld have been d perfect cf...
If Theo wants to hang himself out to dry in full view of the world and go for that CF spot then the lad at least has some
balls — unlike some I won't predict how it will go but would surprised if you could get better
than even odds that he wouldn't get 15 - 20 goals if he had a
season at CF.
Nacho Monreal — 7 He has looked consistently solid this
season, but even he looked very tired at times and gave the
ball away more
than usual.
If cazorla is back no one is better
than him even Ozil... Ox use to loose the
ball so it is not a good choice in the mid better work his magic in the wing... Can't rely on Ramsey, one wonder
season adn that's all... Ozil should be sold and give Sanchez what he gets... Ozil is a luxury buy anyway... Before you speak about the mid you have to get WC forward (2 if Sanchez does leave)... But who cares as long as The stubborn is here it will be all the same... Next year either we win the EPL or we go 6th or 7th, I don't want this 4th spot trophy anymore...
So my decision goes to Mesut Ozil who produced the pinpoint
ball from a free kick and if the Gunners had brought their shooting boots he would have added more

season.

The # 25million signing from Arsenal has been a shadow of his former self since arriving at the Etihad Stadium, and his laziness and unwillingness to work for the team has cost City on several occasions this
season, none more so
than when he jumped out of the way of the
ball to allow his fellow Arsenal team mate Robin van Persie to score the winning goal against his team for Manchester United.
They had less

However, Theo can learn all of these traits, he has been selected as an out and out striker for Arsenal for only a few months (the tail end of last
season and the beginning of this) And after 8 years playing RW it is going to take him time to adapt to CF.. The runs involved are different, the overall responsibilities are different, he will now get the
ball in different positions
than he is used to, and even different sorts of passes
than he is used to, this will take time and patience for him to adapt.
He had a good
season there and whilst had minimal final
ball assists, started many successful moves from farther back as was playing deeper
than previous.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less
than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the
ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through
balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the
ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last
season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off -
season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the
ball too long, gives the
ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long
ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last
season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the
season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the
ball too long and he will give the
ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this club even worse
than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the
season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of
balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather
than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real change to occur at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
Yep, He definitely has what it takes to be a striker and I'm sure that we may see him in that position sooner
than you think lol especially with the way the injury crisis has started, before a
ball is even kicked in the new
season.?
Elneny coquelin Ramsey xhaka will not get a football club top 4 bcoz the balance ain't ready right it was so obvious bs L City that we need another's midfielder that's holds the
ball and can pass forward directly with defensive positioning even nzonzi would cost more
than 20mil it's getting real boring being just short every
season when ur in the hardest league on the planet
Fultz did turn the
ball over six times, a
season time, but he made those mistakes — putting too much on a cross-court pass and stepping out of bounds on a baseline drive — more
than TCU's defense caused them.
He will certainly score more goals
than Sanchez has this
season for sure that's for sure, and hopefully he won't give away the
ball so much!
Alexis Sanchez lost the

Montee
Ball (Wisconsin): Although
