On talent alone he is among our top 5 players of this squad hands down (Özil, Sanchez, Cazorla, Ramsey and him): 1) We our in a strong position financially so no need to sell 2) He will never be all time goal scorer but if he gets healthy and starts playing more and more and even get a full
season unscathed under is belt he could be something special 3) He has the passion, the
love and the drive to be a captain and would be a great
one with maturity 4) Can be
one of the all time greats if he is consistent!
It is true that Ozil won a La Liga title
with the Moaning
One whilst at Real Madrid, and they apparently had a good relationship,
with Mourinho saying that Ozil was the «best No. 10 in the world» and he would
love to renew that partnership next
season with Ozil playing alongside Paul Pogba.
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by
season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's
love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined
with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the
ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
We need to sell some players not even because of Lemar or Mahrez but because they are not meeting expectations. They are quite a number of underperforming players who need to be sold. This would free up spaces for more effective
ones and even reduce wage bill significantly. This is
one place where Arsenal usually fails and that is balancing ruthlessness
with love of players. The coach just seems to
love some players too much to sell them. It's a shame really. However, a lot of players remain thankful to Arsenal and Wenger because of the way we treat them.I just hope Wenger doesn't continue failed experiments this
season again.
He hardly lie if psg want him it's good sign he's rated simple as that and let's be fair he's cracking manager he had just ran out ideas now people are saying wenger not good manager grow up there's a lot more to wat is going on behind scenes while I do think he should have left last summer or before he didn't because he really believes he can turn it around but sadly he can't I'd
love if he did we all would if da invincibles man keep bk for just
one good
season we would all be in heaven we prop cry if wenger won us league again but please don't say he can't manage haha stop he's top manager he has just lost players and when he leaves truth will cum out but before anyone thumbs me down it's time for great man step down
with dignity and class it really is and go get younger manager up coming class act we need
We have the finance to go
with one big player per
season so we must make sure it is the RIGHT
one, not the AVAILABLE
one just to appease to the fan In my dream, I would
love us to be able to splash the cash as City and got all the players I want to see playing for Arsenal.
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he
loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be
one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league
with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few
seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the
season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this
season after all
Our progress has been rather slow in getting into position to win the league, my 2 pet peeve
with Wenger is his favoritism in playing some players (his british core) even when there are better alternatives there in the squad and the second
one is our preparation for the second part of the
season, I would
love to see him try something different buy two positive signings in january to freshen the squad for the run in to MAy.
Last but least Ozïl, the talent is there and we know it: on any given day at the top of his form he is arguably the best # 10 in the world and just need performances like this and the previous
one to show it and remind everyone (what a pass for Giroud); will do a lot for his confidence and also felt he could've been more involved in the team play but that will come
with game time (got 90 mins today)... Hopefully that doesn't stop until
season's end and keep them passes and goals coming... Dare I say I would've
love to see once a front of Alexis, Ozïl, Walcott / Chamberlaine and Cazorla (mouthwatering)!!!
When Samuel commented on why it was wrong to sell Lucas Perez you brought up stats between Walcott and Perez and in that you proved using the stats why Walcott is better. If Wenger didn't have blond
love for some of his players then why did he keep benching Perez when he was performing yet the average guys always got a look in the squad. So if there are stats which prove Walcott is better aren't there stats which also prove Perez is better?Think about that. You also said Perez is not as good as some of us make out.The funny thing is yesterday we had an argument on Giroud and I also tried to imply that Giroud is not as good as we make out and you opposed. You always kept bringing stats up to defend him.Do you know if Bendtner or Chamakh had scored 25 goals for Arsenal in any
season they'd still have been regarded as average. You know why?Because quality has nothing to do
with stats and is just a kind pf talent or state. It seems to me that you think you know it all.You also denied the fact that Wenger likes French players and that if Perez was French he wouldn't have been out in
one season stating other players as examples. It seems to me that you deny things which are clear for everyone to see.If you think you know better than everyone go and teach Wenger how to win the trophy this
season.
I bet fans will say «engine» lol this lad has been
with arsenal for 5 + years or so now had
one good
season yet wenger
loves him.
I
love this guy but he does not get his team to play
with consistence
one full
season for the last 10 years.
Wenger gave Coq a chance to prove himself in basically every
season he could, he does this
with all of his players and its
one of the things that people either
love or hate about him.
We go into the
season with more questions than answers yet
one thing that hasn't changed is that Arsenal the club I
love dearly are a club unable to address there needs properly.
Just add 2 players
with the same winning mentality mr Wenger and you will be celebrating
with your
loved ones in beach as you did in Brazil come the end of 15/16
season.
Ramsey has had
one good
season for us since his horrible injury, he needlessly gives the ball away much too often and his finishing is even worse than Giroud's... once again we have fallen in
love with the idea of what could have been... Ramsey has only scored 2 meaningful goals in his entire Arsenal tenure:
one in Turkey and the other in last year's FA Cup, which is not near enough to make him a centerpiece of this offence... likewise simply his presence on the team sheet has led Wenger into making horrible tactical blunders because he will force Ramsey into the lineup even when it doesn't make sense... just think of all those games when Ramsey was played out wide on the right, which forced the RB to come up into the play far more often, and deeper, because Ramsey invariably would find himself in a more central position leaving us far more vulnerable to the counterattack..
I was fully behind Wenger right up till this
season... was annoyed
with fans saying that i
loved Wenger more than my club... i never let it get to me as i believed that Wenger was ready to spring to life as soon as the funds where sorted and that hed start buying players similar to the
ones of old.
One day late last
season, teammate Jonathan Allen ticked off a list of linemen either pinned or forced to tap out by Tomlinson, whose best move is a double - leg takedown but who still
loves to experiment
with more exotic moves favored by smaller wrestlers.
we shouldn't keep an unhappy player, I want a team playing
with love and passion this coming
season... and no
one is bigger than Arsenal
The public backed Tampa against Chicago (65 % of spread tickets) and their following game vs. Minnesota (76 %), but bettors haven't shown the Bucs much
love since, as they've closed
with the majority of tickets in just
one other game this
season (56 % vs. Arizona in Week 6).
Guys why are we comparing arsenal to barca i
love arsenal it my club but i must be realistic barca is lite years infront of us look at the champions league last year no match they have won the champions league twice in the last five years and the last
one with kids just like arsenal so its not about how young players are because if your good enough your old enough and am afraid the arsenal youngsters walcott, deneilson, nasri, diaby, bendtner, even the great vanpercy who all arsenal fans rate who as i mentioned before (Has not scored a free kick in god knows how long) world class right these players so far have not been good enoughso do nt blame injuries too much do nt blame refs look at the way arsenal do things something is wrong here is a prime example eboue joined arsenal in the 2004/2005
season to date now tell me that a long time right would you say he is a much better player than when he arrived i think no he has improved but only very little and thats the point football is a short business at a big club you spend three
seasons for the most and then you must perform.
I read somewhere that some said we're not clinical enough that is a culture at wenger has become too friendly
with the players at Arsenal the players position are seldom under treat you play poorly for two weeks and you still make the team you missed a look at almunia retrospectively don't understand that hey if i get a chance to score i must take it the first time cause i may not get a next
one and you want the players to be clinical it must start from the top good work or none As was said on a website to day Arsenal should parade through the streets of london in an open top Bus at the end of the
season the accountants of the club and i will through wenger in there too cause to most of you he can do no wrong I
love this club
with all my heart and i can support no other club in football but to see for 5
seasons we can't show any vast improvement and keep making the same mistakes every year is hard to swallow it makes me sick but as wenger says judge me at the end i wonder what end he meant the end of the
season or the end of his contract GO ARSENAL......................
It was clear to see that Adebayor
with all his stupid talk after his
one wonder
season and talking about all those big clubs that wanted him to come to them was losing the
love of the Arsenal supporters.
4
season now we have been at the emirates and not a single trophy and i must accept this and wenger saying the fa cup is not success the carling cup is not success you have to creep before you walk look at MU they have won the carling cup recently If you say to me i need time to build a team i say fine i give you max 5
seasons to start to win this is the 7th
season wenger time has ran out he will hang his ownself
with his stubborn attitude I
love arsenal but i am not prepared to accept foolishness from any
one mostly someone like wenger who should no better..
British people
love to put down heroes and many people were saying that Kane was a
one -
season wonder after following up his first Golden Boot
with a dry spell in August.
