We spend so much time in this area that I don't want it to feel overly

do want it to feel warmer for the season at hand, and this is one way I've achieved that chic yet cozy feel in here without going over board on my
seasonal decor (to me less usually means more!).

It's taking me longer to transition my

I don't know what has come over me these past couple of years but I'm all about ignoring boxes of
seasonal decorations in my basement and keeping the fall
decor simple!
It's what sets the
seasonal decor apart from other times of the year and if
done tastefully, I believe a few touches of those colors can work in any home and with any design.
I get renewed energy by changing things up — and often I don't have funds to go get new
seasonal decor or fabrics, but there are still things I can
do, like moving the sofa or even «fall cleaning».
My mom used to
do it years ago and its taken me several years to have little things for each holiday coming up... I move to the

I haven't come across any part of my home where those sweet little dots don't have a place, and as it seems now, even my
seasonal decor is fair game to get the patterned treatment.
For the past several years I've been decorating small rental places so my
