Today, I'm sharing my homemade version of
seasoned salt as a throwback to my poor food choices in college and to celebrate my love of real food today.
Taste sauce and add more salt and

As I'm sure you can tell I'm not quite up to your heat level, my friend!
Season you shrimp generously with
salt and pepper and spread out evenly in a skillet, casserole dish or your choice of pan (
as long
as it has at least 2 inches depth).
Season with
salt and pepper and add a splash more of any of the liquids
as needed.
In its most basic form, we have sharp cheddar
as the backbone, chosen for its cheesy bite and texture, then we add in onion and garlic for a savory punch,
salt and pepper for
seasoning, mayo for creaminess and spreadability, and of course, pimento peppers for their mild sweetness and a hint of ruby color.
You could probably slice the vegetables ahead of time, but if you
season them with
salt they will get soft
as they sit in the refrigerator, so I'd wait to
season until just before you bake it.
Season short ribs
as desired with
salt and pepper, then place them in single layer in the pot and sear both sides for 6 - 7 minutes.
To the pan, add the tomato paste, capers, 3/4 of the oregano and

as you'd like, depending on how spicy you'd like the dish to be;

as much lemon juice
as you like.

I ask because I know how important
salt is
as a
seasoning in simple, plain bread but how much is too much considering the amount of yeast and the small amount of sugar?
Brush the cobs lightly with oil (but don't use
seasoning as salt will toughen the corn), then cook for 5 - 7 mins, turning frequently, until lightly charred.
Toss to combine, allow orzo to heat through,
season to taste with more

as the kimchi is already

The recipe is perfect
as is, but if you want variety, I found it is also delicious with carrots in place of broccoli, and using cajun or jerk
seasoning to rub into the chicken breasts before browning, in place of
salt and pepper.

You forgot deviled eggs, Nancy, and none of the ones I've had in restaurants taste
as good
as my father's, which were made with store - brand mayonnaise, yellow mustard and Lawry's
Seasoned Salt.
In general though, a good rule of thumb is to
season with
salt, spices, and dried herbs prior to roasting and to use fresh herbs
as a final
seasoning once the vegetables have cooked.
Sprinkle the
seasoning blend and the sea
salt over the chickpeas, stir to coat evenly, then spread evenly on the two baking sheets, spreading the chickpeas
as much
as possible.
Remember, always hold off on
seasoning your legumes
as salt prohibits cooking.
Add the fresh basil just before serving and
season with
salt and pepper

Just make sure to check the
seasoning on the curry, adding
salt and pepper
as you see fit.

as appropriate based on your progress with food reintroduction and know that this recipe will still be DELICIOUS if
seasoned only with
salt.
