The time of year I start getting tired of pumpkin
recipes if I haven't paced myself
from the start of the
season.
I forget where I got the
recipe from, but its basically break up the tempeh into small pieces and fry it with some onion, garlic, and taco
seasoning.
I actually threw in some red bell peppers I didn't finish using
from my fresh spring rolls
recipe in the beginning of the
recipe, and you could mix it up with the
seasonings if you want.
It contains a whole host of
recipes from fellow food bloggers all pertaining to a specific
season.
These delicious
recipes are just a small collection of
recipes that have been brought to the Potluck Parties by my blog friends
from all over the world;) There are so many
recipes that it was really hard to pick — these are some that I think compliment the taste of the
season well.
You can add
seasonings like garlic, onions, or herbs, but I like the fact that this is a neutral base for whatever
recipe I want to make,
from weeknight pizzas to a fancy lasagna.
But even then the
recipe itself is gross, the lemon juice made the strawberries gross, that is also probably
from them being out of
season too.
I originally got the methodology and idea for the
seasoning from a King Arthur Flour
recipe — after all, who doesn't love an everything bagel, but I've changed the
recipe so much including the spice mix, it bears little resemblance to that one.
