I see lot of coments about how we can sign Reus «cuz he's a world class

player BUT did you see how mutch this
season was he injuried? The period when Dortmund win some games and comme forward in the table was the period when Reus was available, rest of the
season he was injuried. This is one thing, the other think is that Klopp say he will leave Dortmund in the end of the
season and looking for a new chalange.I'm pretty sure that he will leave to a big
team and will take Reus after him.Sterling is exactly the same type of
player as Sanchez, just doesn't have the same experience, he's not fully developed.I think he can be a

There have been a few debates regarding which young
players who could make the move from the Arsenal under 21's to the
first team for next
season, and whilst the likes of Jon Toral may have been mentioned
as a likely candidate, Iwobi will most certainly be well in Wenger's view for next
season.
We will end the

as overage, 5 of them are goalkeepers (of which 2 min will not be part of the squad) whilst 4 others are arteta, Debuchy, flamini and rosicky who will surely leave, I also don't expect Sanogo or wellington to be part of the
first team next
season as they are simply not good enough.
Even last month when the January transfer window gave the Frenchman a brilliant opportunity to sign some

I've always maintained my stance that Arsene Wenger loves French
players in his
team than any other
players. No matter how average you are once you're French and once you're in the
first team he tends to give you so many chances to prove yourself.I can start mentioning them if you want me to but I know you know them.If Lucas Perez was French he wouldn't have been out so early believe me.I just don't know where to begin. Was Giroud bought to become a super sub or to be the leading striker?Having giving us many sesons of failure people are now content with him being a so called super sub.A
player like Giroud is not built for that kind of role.He ws a super sub in 99 % of those matches because he was not played when he was supposed to and we needed presence in the air.The funny thing is people are using only this
season to label him
as a super sub. There were so many matched that Wenger should have started Giroud but for some reason didn't start him.I only see Arsenal
as the top club who'd be crying over Giroud. If a good offer comes we should sell.
We just ain't good when the opposition closes us down, our

Come the other year when Arsenal went the whole
season without a defeat in the Premier League, Barcelona were attracted by Marc Overmas and Emmanue Petti, the two joined Barcelona, they played few games, and sometime on the bench,
as a result Emmanue Petti decided to go back to England and joined New - Castle and always regret leaving Arsenal, then the other year it was Alexander Hleb, he was the best dribller in Arsenal
team, he went again to Barcelona, he was never given some games, I think he only played few games
as a sub, and his carrier was destroyed by Barcelona, then come Henry, he again went to Barcelona, he played some games but not like he used to do at Arsenal, he was not looking like a star
player anymore, he decided to go to America, then there was Fabrigas, he joined Barcelona again, since he was one of their juniors, I think he played for two
seasons, and supporter used to booing him, he decided to come back to Arsenal, by then Arsenal had already resplaced him with Ozil, and he joined Chelsea, then come Alexander Song, he pushed to go to Barcelona, he was always on the banch, and never been on
first eleven, then he ended up regreting joing Barcelona, and wanted to go back to Arsenal, but normally Wenger do not take
players who pushed themselves to be out of Arsenal, lastly there was Vermuleen, he went to Barcelona and ended up not playing at all but when playing for Arsenal they used to be star
players.
The point made previously about how expensive it will be to get the

Norwich City boss has released ten

Bale, who scored seven and assisted three in 19 La Liga games for Los Blancos last

as per the Sunday Express, after dropping down in boss Zidane's pecking order, with the
player set to find himself even further away from the
first -
team should the Spanish giants end - up being successful in their pursuit of Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous
seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his
first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any of the top 7
teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good
team can afford to have that many average
players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies...
as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)

Arsenal fans know and understand the policy of Arsene Wenger in resting
first team players in the Capital One Cup games, and even in the FA cup and Champions League games when we can, to give those key men a rest
as well
as giving some valuable opportunities to the up and coming Gunners from the academy and the likes of Debuchy and Gibbs who have not seen much action so far this
season.
lst
season at stamford bridge, was the
first time i saw that 4 -1-4-1 formation being used, and for some weird reason i feel a very strange negative vibe and well all know the outcome.the manager has come back with this formation and its not yielding result, but he still sticks with it.i do nt know much about formations dear friends, but if you are playing a slow dm in arteta and a very very slow cb, then you are toast against quality
teams with sound tactics.wen playing wellbeck
as a lone striker, i think 4 -2-3-1, will work better, but if we have a big player like oliver (boooos), thn we can try the 4 -1-4-1, thingy cos he can hold the ball for our midfielders to run in.but on the overall, shame on wenger for not giving our defence a good cover DM.NO BODY PLAYS A SLOW DM / CB AND EXPECT TO B REGARDED AS CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL.IT HURTS GUYS, REALLY HURT

Up front we have a few world - class
players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished
player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by
season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved,
as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills
as a front man, will only be
as good
as the
players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these
players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average
first - touch
players, which should be the baseline test for any
player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal
team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a
team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level,
as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the
team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Orr, the 20 - year - old marvel who gradually is replacing Bobby Hull
as the league's most exciting
player, and Esposito, who leads all scorers with 73 points and may become the
first player ever to get 100 points in a
season, have manipulated the assault so well that the Bruins are the league's highest - scoring
team.
I don't really blame any of those
players at all,
first mistake from Wenger was his
team selection and secondly wrong
players in a wrong position,, its quite sad with all their mouths and boasting of starting the
season strongly and aiming for the league just a waste of energy and wishful thinking, am putting the whole blame on Wenger, where is Belerin, why Ozil, Cazorla played out of positions, you should know their weaknesses and strength
as a coach, why must we pass and pass to score a goal, many opportunities came from shooting distance but the
players will always be looking for the next person to pass the ball to, its quite unfortunate that a big club like arsenal is relying on a scrappy Giroud to lead an attack of a
team aiming to win the league.
giroud, lecoq, are gud backups to hve in the squad but not a
first team player for a
team wanting to challenge for epl.coq has got to improve slightly on the ball but off the ball he is gud.everyone knows about giroud and I don't think a gud striker is enough for us.we need a very clinical guy not a guy who will be going through dry patches coz thats guaranteed from a gud striker.gibbs is tricky he is a gud option to hve on the bench but if we scout someone younger and better than him then I think we can sell him for both the clubs sake and himself coz he hasn't progressed
as a
player.what I find shocking is bellerin back up is jenkinson worth a
team challenging for epl?I don't think so and we should find an able guy there than fool ourselves and next
season we pay for mistakes again.
In addition we're too loyal to
players who can't stay on the pitch for more than one game a
season, Wilshere shouldn't even be considered for the
first team until he's fully fit next year, Rosicky should've been released last
season, but Wenger used them
as an excuse not to buy available quality in midfield.
the
season is over i don't feel that arsenal need any more frustrations along the way,
as it stands injuries and fitness are things
players and manager must look after. The mesut ozil injury was lack of proper communication and Wenger saw Ramsey wanting to be subbed but still did not care to look at him, arsenal have been bad lucked this term and this match after losing to
team conceded from offside position from the
first goal.
Arsenal have been linked with further signings of attacking
players themselves in recent times, though it may be that Podolski will be allowed to make way
as Arsene Wenger seeks to promote promising youngsters Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell into his
first -
team plans on a more regular basis this
season.
However, with so many of our best
players likely to be unready to play at the start of the
season, this is a real opportunity for iwobi to establish himself
as a
first team regular.
It may seem a little bit odd to say this after Rob Holding was an unused substitute for most of his debut
season as an Arsenal
player, especially after this summer of international competition when his club and country colleague Calum Chambers was selected ahead of him for the England under 21
team every time, but I believe that the young defender is going to be a regular
first team starter for us next
season.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects,
as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last
season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox
as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off -
season, if he thought otherwise...
as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national
team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last
season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch...
as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National
team's midfield, where
teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part
as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary
first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the
season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential
as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this
team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense
as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this
team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
The claim that what we saw was us not turning up is
as pathetic and utterly unacceptable an excuse to use because we've been down this road before, WEEKS were spent hyping Arsenal up,
players, fans and coaching staff alike spent weeks in advance talking about our real chances winning the league, our
players back from injury and on the
first game of the
season, where we had renewed optimism and were swelling with expectation we cracked under the pressure to a
team you expect to finish no higher than 8th.
He's 24 going on 25 at the end of next
season, so that will be 8
seasons in the
first team setup and just how much has he improved
as a
player?
Not only did the manager wax lyrical about the qualities of Ozil and what he adds to the
team, Wenger suggested that having
players like Ozil, Giroud and Koscielny back from lengthy injury spells could benefit us
as they will be much fresher than those who have played most of the games in the
first half of the
season.
Players have bad games; strikers often look unconvincing in unconvincing
teams; and
as we established not four paragraphs ago, the
first game of the
season is the worst game of the
season when it comes to actually knowing what's going on.
Arsenal's 19 year - old Alex Iwobi is looking certain to become a regular Arsenal
first team player next
season,
as Arsene Wenger has been slowly integrating him into the squad.
DI MARIA and loan cb and cdm this
season then buy proper young cdm and cb next

as well then from they that 8 yrs of taking a real short at the ucl and epl, other wise looking at other top

team's quality.

As reported by Metro his Arsenal
team mate Mesut Ozil was one of the
first to offer his support and congratulations to the Chilean and while the German and the other Arsenal
players at Euro 2016 could still be on international duty for some time, at least Sanchez can now rest and recover ahead of the new
season.
Last
season, Bellerin had a breakout campaign with Arsenal, recording his
first goals
as a senior
player and helped the
team to a 4 - 0 win over Aston Villa in the 2015 FA Cup Final.
I say if wenger doesn't strengthen the squad by mid july he should go because if anyone hasn't realize we are going 12 years without the premier league and untill us fans wake up and see that wenger is done we will end up like Liverpool pathetic and holding on to past glory get that specialist in failure out soon like come on we are short on bloody
first team players and we will be going in next
season with coquelin
as our
first choice cdm and Walcott
as our striker lol pathetic
Alexis Sanchez is enjoying a dream
first season as an Arsenal
player, exhibiting his entire repertoire of scoring goals, making goals and working indefatigably for the welfare of his
team.
But it does not look
as though the
first team players that finished the
season on loan at various clubs have enjoyed the same success.
Where's all this positivity about our champions league group coming from?for one I can guarantee 100 % that PSG will finish
first ahead of us, I saw someone mention that Man City and Chelsea beat them but those
teams actually have Uefa Champions league level
players as City made it to the semis last
season and Chelsea's champions league is better than ours they have won it before and made more champions league semi finals!
Well im not in a wonderland he has his failings
as we all do and great
teams find a way to win good
teams sit where we are 6 -5-4 but thats besides the point and it would be nice if your aunty had bolocks cause then we d be second but ive watched the games were an offensive
team most the time although were terrible in the pissing rain but for the most part the game plans have worked weve created chances quality scoring chances one after the other problem is for me the finishing unless we sit back with 9 man behind the ball or ten when you push forward you will give up a goal if you lousy forwards fail to finish the set ups have been there this year but our strikers have failed to kill the games if we create quality chances and grab leads in the
first 60 minutes like we have for the most part and in those games those games should of been killed even if we give a goal or two alongside the strategy but we failed to hit multiple should be goals we tried laca we'll see abou auba although hes a bit lazy so far but we'll see but we've lacked that quality in front goal a
player the chances have been there im looking at the failure of the strikers and maybe that is his fault but monreal has scored
as many goals recently
as our strikers and thats sad our defenders or a midfielder will score and our stikers cant tally one in th
first 60 mins of a game alongside them then were tired for last 40 give them hope there still only down one and we rue our missed chances while they push thats where iv been frustrated with this
season not the tactics but the finishing
It could well be the latter
as the
player in question, Joe Gomez, is only 17 - years old and is still in his
first season with the
first team at the Championship club Charlton Athletic.
