When airlines and airports make even a passing effort to improve travel
for families — give them their own spaces to wait
for planes, give them
seats where they can use bassinets, etc. etc. — the chance that the
baby / child will be able to 1 / nap successfully 2 / get out their toddler energy 3 / not have to restrain themselves from something they don't understand — goes up astronomically.
If she doesn't book a
seat for the
baby, she will have to gate - check the car

We didn't try any of the à - la - carte restaurants since the earliest

Things that have worked
for other parents: getting rid of the
baby bucket & getting a rear - facing convertible

babies whose heads don't slump forward & no more than 30 degrees), putting the radio station to static & having it the same volume as the crying, singing, trying different kinds of music, sitting in the back with the
baby (obviously only works if someone else can drive:)-RRB-, having toys that are just
for the car, only going somewhere when
baby is sleepy... I'm sure there's others, those are the most common
I remember times when we would be almost home and I would have to say to my husband «please don't talk to me
for a minute» and then just close my eyes and plug my ears, because the
baby (or
babies, I also have twins) was / were crying in the back
seat and it was so hard to hear, it just went against everything my mommy instincts were saying.
What you don't need is to buy a special
seat for the
baby tub (unless it comes included with the
baby bathtub you buy — it is, of course handy, but an extra cost).
If your
babies are only weeks old, they probably won't be able to see each other in their own separate
seats for a while but what you can
do is get them together on the floor.
In our big
