It made me want to explore the
experience I had as a newborn (I was born via c -
section, due to being frank breech, and kept away from my
mom for several hours following the operation) and made me curious how that may have shaped who I am and the relationship I have with my mother today.

Even if the
mom has an unwanted c -
section, this can be an empowering
experience if she is treated with respect and support.
Traumatic birthing
experiences, like the use of drugs to induce labor and numb pain, internal electrode probes screwed onto baby's scalp, forceps, C -
section, immediate cord clamping, suctioning, rough handling, bright lights, separation from
mom and being left alone in a nursery incubator etc., can be hard - wired into a deep memory base that you, as a now functioning adult, can't even remember, let alone access!
A girdle after c -
section allows new
moms to
experience a free range of motion — both sitting down and standing up — while also applying just enough pressure on the incision to take discomfort away.

moms who deliver vaginally, and they require a longer recovery period.

Yes home births are safe until the baby
experiences develop due to the cord wrapped around its neck and requires an emergency c -

section the mother is not
experiencing all the hormonal changes associated with labor, and the baby is not being exposed to the usual phases of the birthing process, and we don't really know yet what impact that may be having on
mom and babies, but it does have some impact, we really just don't have a lot of research yet to know exactly what impact it does have on both
mom and baby and breastfeeding.
