Only about half of public -
sector employees get top - ups, as do roughly one in five parents who work for corporations —
usually big firms in competitive fields.
Much of my work is traditional investigative reporting,
usually the type described as CARR or «computer - aided research and reporting» where I go online to obtain records, access databases and run numbers, often to fact - check public
sector employees.
For each company, they took into account the headquarter location, industry
sector, cofounders, board members, key
employees, investments, and the business description, which was
usually limited to one or more paragraphs on the key facts about the companies» products, markets and technologies.
