And while there is no question that
secular teachers in public schools can be wonderfully nurturing and nourishing, I do believe that for many kids in pain, schools in which teachers can assure them that God loves them and wants them to succeed just might work best.
This study concluded that voucher programs introduce risks, including: «increased
school segregation; the loss of a common,
secular educational experience; and the possibility that the flow of inexperienced young
teachers filling the lower - paying jobs
in private
schools will dry up once the security and benefits offered to more experienced
teachers in public schools disappear.»
