see Bottle Rocket until after I saw Anderson's wonderful second film, Rushmore.

seeing Wes Anderson's The Royal Tenenbaums.
It's easy to look at
Bottle Rocket and
see just another 1990s comedy about slackers.

Bottle Rocket» is entertaining if you understand exactly what it is: if you
see it as a film made by friends out of the materials presented by their lives and with the freedom to not push too hard.
