In all honesty, I'd rather see the back of Gallas in the centre of defence than Toure.
He is a natural leader of men and obviously has the respect of his teammates, unlike Gallas before him, so it will be interesting to see how his teammates respond to the inspiring, hard - working Belgian.

i really think manuel is a good goal - keeper... besides i do nt think arsene would buy a Cb because he still has faith in toure and gallas, and no one would like to be on the bench... my guess is that is AW's biggest problem but what this players do nt understand is that without the bench, the team is not complete... im sure he is going for a mid-fielder, besides lets not forget we are dealing with AW he might just suprise us all as he usually does... did anyone see the smirk on his face during the sky sports interview when he was being asked about the transfers?

i cant help my anger at this point becos its a result of so much pent up frustration and the managers failure to recognise issues and failure to ever acknowledge our fans and i refuse to stick my head in the ground and come up smiling after beating stoke at home 2 - 0, maybe if the manager had ever once just said «i feel for the fans» or apologise to travelling fans after gutless away displays, but no he does nt feel accountable to any1 despite the thousands of times «theres only one arsene wenger» rings in his ears, hes gotten more love and trust than youd give your wife but wot has he given you in return the last 4 years???? not even acknowledgement, and in between the poor run hes given us more than his fair share of touchline controversy which reflects badly on us and the club in regards to fair play.and he never sees anything!!!! be honest and come out like moyes and bruce, its refreshing!!!! the standards at the club hav plummeted and where chels, utd, pool and even villa / city / spurs hav so many players who fight and uphold club traditions we only hav cesc, gallas, verm, RvP, sagna and arsha who, IMO really care and who fight when our backs are to the wall....

His lack of fitness means he won't be available for this trip after Arsene Wenger confirmed he would require Campbell's services for the remainder of the season, although it's hard to see where he would fit in as William Gallas & Thomas Vermaelen have been superb at the back for Arsenal this season in defending their own goal and scoring goals of their own.
