It would be good to also
see a Ghost mode implemented so we can see the times of our online opponents in real time.

The online
mode will give gamers the chance to vote for the circuit, bike class, and number of laps before they take to the track and compete in an online Arcade racer or Career
mode championship. Once the race comes to an end it's over to the online leaderboards to
see where you rank against the rest of the world. Not only will you find competitors» lap times but the option to upload and download racing
ghosts and riding lines, which will help you compete against the very best or for those new to the series learn the skills they need to race to the top of the leaderboard. There will also be a demo available on XBox Live and PSN before the game launches.

see the «
ghosting», but only after waking it up from stand - by
mode.
Those playing the game on the PSP will also be able to use a «
Ghost» infrastructure
mode that will allow them to upload and download other players» info so they can
see how they stack up.
The
mode is useful, especially to newcomers to the series, as
seeing yourself race a
Ghost AI car will give you a better general idea of how to do things in other
modes such as the campaign.
In its place, we'd love to
see the return of Extinction, the alien invasion
mode that appeared in Call of Duty:
Ghosts.
In a new video detailing the
mode, West is
seen cosplaying as Capcom icons Cammy (Street Fighter), Mega Man X (Mega Man) and Sissel (
Ghost Trick), though the publisher says there'll be «over a dozen outfits pulled from the Capcom archives» for him to use.
Then tear it up in the time trial
mode and
see if you can beat the
ghost car.
These vary from protecting equipment and survival
modes to simply
seeing who can catch the most
ghosts.
Either way, any user you follow who has not enabled
ghost mode will appear on the map, so that you can
see their exact location in real time.
