As a sugar expert I have to say that these do contain sugar BUT these are refined sugar free and do make a healthier alternative to actual Snickers which contain corn syrup and refined sugar as well as palm oil, and artificial flavours etc. (

These gems are way better then traditional restaurant versions AND they eliminate all those filler
ingredients like breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire;
see below for why I never use those
ingredients!
When I make acai bowls, I usually just eyeball the
ingredient ratios, so you'll
see the recipe
below is really more of a loose framework — customize it however you'd like!
Gather your
ingredients (
see recipe
below) and toss»em in a blender.
Once your side dish is cooking to the point where you've added the last
ingredients and it's winding down to the lowest setting (
see below), you'll want to heat your second skillet with a little coconut oil on medium high.
If you start adding more complicated
ingredients, though, grab a mortar and pestle to grind things like seeds and nuts, or a blender for heartier items like a charred poblano (
see below).
But considering these contain entirely all - natural
ingredients and in light of how high they are in some of the micronutrients (
see below), I feel pretty good about eating them.

It is actually a pretty healthy dessert full of nourishing healthy fats, and if you are dairy sensitive you can create the same texture with coconut milk and coconut oil (
