In addition to creating activities that build on the connections that
you see as an Instructional Designer, structure activities in ways that allow participants to reflect on the connections they see — and perhaps share these with other learners in the course.

I decided to focus on this because, in my experience working with
Instructional Designers, I
see prototyping
as the most underutilized and / or incorrectly implemented tools of design thinking (or agile / SAM).
One of the major issues
as I
see it, is that so often we (
Instructional Designers) are placed within a Learning and Development department.
Rather, this moment should be
seen as an opportunity to seize, with
instructional designers developing education - friendly applications in concert with researchers.
