On night dives around these outcrops there is always the opportunity to
see barracuda hunting.
Nearby, Cape Kri is also crowded with fish shoals and you can also
see barracuda hanging about.
The Visibility has been changing all week from 2 Meters to an astonishing 25 Meters towards the end and that didn't stop our groups of divers
seeing the barracudas circulating overhead like a flock of birds.
Besides the abundance of multi-coloured reef fish - you can expect to
see barracudas, giant groupers, feeding travelys, whalesharks and if you're lucky, perhaps even sail fish.
I saw the barracuda tornado in Sipadan and dozens of turtles.

We have been
seeing hammerheads, mobula rays, white tip reef sharks,
barracuda, devil rays, trevally, tuna and more and more schools of squid mainly at the dive site «Gili Sarang».
Also this week we have
seen, juvenile warty frog fish, ribbon eels, garden eels, blue spotted sting rays, scorpion leaf fish, pigmy seahorse,

Aided by incredible visibility, we've
seen larger schools of mackerel, fusiliers and chevron
barracuda, to name just a few.

see two - metre cobia, stingray,

The Blue Hole is famous for its sponges,

seen patrolling the hole's edge.

Eagle rays, southern sting rays, turtles, moray eels and
barracuda are commonly
seen and occasionally.
We have
seen many squids, sea turtles, octopus, snakes,
barracudas, stingrays and many varieties of fish.
Here and there, you will also
see horse - eye jack, Bermuda chub, smooth trunkfish and small
barracudas moving above the seagrass.
Silk or Queen Cayes, Pompion Caye and Ranguna Caye At outer reef dive sites at Silk or Queen Cayes (Marine Reserve), the diver is likely to
see hawksbill and loggerhead turtles, spotted eagle rays, southern rays, spiny lobsters, green and spotted moray eels, spider crabs,
barracuda, schools of horse - eyed jacks, school master and schools of yellowtail and dogtooth snappers, several different species of groupers including huge black groupers, spotted drums, cleaner shrimp, arrow crabs, a myriad of types of reef fishes, nurse sharks and occasional hammer head sharks.
You will
see dozens of turtles in one dive, schools of whitetip sharks, batfish, jacks and
barracuda.
Ao Luek featured schools of butterflyfish and even yellow - tailed
barracuda which I was not expecting to
see at Koh Tao.
This outstanding dive site has a great
barracuda shoal (thousands) often
seen in a tornado - like formation.
Divers can
see juvenile drum fish,
barracudas, eagle rays, and sting rays.
Once out of the bay confines at the extreme north point, currents often come into play, and here you're likely to
see large groups of slowly circling chevron
barracuda.
The reef here is stunning, even in the shallows where you will
see a variety of different hard and soft corals and it is common to
see frogfish, shoals of midnight snappers,
barracuda, tuna, lionfish, clownfish and puffer fish.
