saw scarves get fuller and bigger until we were literally wrapping small

This ribbed dress [
seen here last] is easily transitionable by throwing on a cozy sweater and
blanket scarf.
What you can't
see in these photos are the other parts of my outfit... fleece - lined leggings, woolly knee - high socks, North Face quilted puffy boots, mittens,
blanket scarf, and winter coat.
I've
seen bloggers in thick - knit sweaters, over the knee boots and
blanket scarves... and it's not even October yet!
I honestly don't
see how people are wearing sweaters,

Don't confuse an oversized
scarf with a
blanket — OK, we can
see how it happens, especially if you drape it over your shoulders, but wrap it around (and around) your neck and you'll realise that no
blanket ever rocked like this.
I don't
see this as something to wear around all day though... I mostly wear my
blanket scarves during commuting with a coat, and then draped around my shoulders during the day if cold at my desk.
A poncho,
blanket or large Russian
scarf look stylish when wrapped around the shoulder over a wool or shearling winter coat and belted for shape (
