All of these actions can be viewed at a glance with the easy - to - use smartphone app and you can choose exactly how you want to be notified of what's going on, whether that's by push
notification, text messages, sms, email, phone
calls or even just simple sounds and lights on the mother device itself.
And it's got the same basic functionality we've
seen on the other Gear watches — tell the time and date and weather and news and track fitness and heart rate show
notifications and email and even make and receive Dick Tracy - style phone
calls.
You
see, Mother communicates with small, multipurpose sensors
called «Cookies,» and instructs them to monitor one thing or another and report back, so it in turn can relay data and
notifications back to you.
To
see your
notifications, like phone
calls, reminders, and messages, swipe down from the top of your screen.

According to OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, the new feature of the OnePlus 6 smartphone is
called «black - out» and promises to let users black out the background of both the
notifications and the status bar so that you won't
see the notch anymore if you're not a fan and you want your OnePlus phone to look like all the current models.
Even better, even though it supports
call and text
notifications (though without a screen you can't
see who it is or what they're saying), it can be worn alongside another smartwatch or analog timepiece.
The Huawei Watch 2 smartwatch can be paired with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro via Bluetooth, allowing users to answer
calls,
see notifications, and stay connected even without having the smartphone in hand.
The Charge 2 will also deliver smartphone
notifications, like the Alta, which means users will
see calendar alerts, text messages and
call notifications appear but no third party
notifications.

While you don't have the luxury to

notifications on a hybrid smartwatch, it's still capable of notifying you of incoming messages and

notifications to silent + vibrate once and left it alone, but I could
see this being frustrating if you wanted to switch back and forth.

see notifications if your phone is in a pocket or handbag, face down or if you're on a
call, but you will
see icons, with more detail accessed by swiping up.
The mVoice line of watches come with the traditional analog dial on which we can also
see a small OLED display on the bottom which will be notifying text messages, incoming
calls and also upcoming calendar events that make sure that the user does not miss any
notification and upcoming meetings.
