I see ebook sites exploding with a new one emerging on the net almost daily.

But there are also certain features that you don't
see very often on competitor

I received an Advance Review Copy (ARC) of The Self - Publisher's Ultimate Resource Guide and promised to write and post an honest review here on my own blog and on at lesat one other
ebook site (
see links, below) in exchange.
At this time, no other major online book retailers have opted to pay a commission to independent
sites for this exposure, but there's a strong chance they are simply waiting to
see how dynamically this strategy increases traffic to Google
eBooks.
I have started writing on a new
site,» The Creative Exiles» and they are in the process of putting out poetry together for an
EBook, so we'll
see how that goes.
It would be most interesting to
see this same thing duplicated for other big series in the literary world, like Tolkien's work, Clive Cussler's books, the Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire,... Such a
site would be useful to be able to buy the
eBooks in a single place and have them added to an
eBook company of your own choosing — if you even want that in the first place.
Coincidentally, in a year spent collaborating with other platforms to form new connections and new opportunities for authors,
ebook distributor and self - publishing platform Smashwords also
saw a 45 % increase in titles published to the
site.
It's not surprising to
see Tim Waterstone predict the demise of
ebooks, or to read e-book
sites declare their imminent triumph.
To
see if it's still alive at all, I poked around the major public domain
sites and found the following: Project Gutenberg: I can't find any
ebooks in PDF format on their
site.
There is a slight rise in the indie
eBook author category and most of them can now be
seen in various trading and publishing
sites.

You'll expect to
see your own website,
eBook vendors such as Amazon, iBooks, and Google Play, the
sites of bloggers you've interviewed with, and
eBook advertising
sites you're working with.
I
saw from my stats that one lady had bought 2 copies of the same
ebook from my
site.
I
saw one instance recently where hundreds of
ebooks were illegally offered for sale by an individual, and by the time the
site was removed, each of those hundreds of books had racked up hundreds of views.
I would like to
see a similar article on the inner working of amazon in the States and on their latest decision to actually make the Canadian
site similar to the American, hey they sell
ebooks in Canada!
We expect to

Check your publisher's
site to
see what your
ebook is listed for; don't worry what retailers are selling it for.
I currently own a Cybook and love it, but I really like the look of the Generation 2 reader they show on their web
site (above the one you reference) It has a little bit bigger screen size (which apeals to me as I read everything in a very large font) and you should
see all of the
ebook reader software that comes on it — every major one is listed I think.
It's not a new phenomenon for nonfiction authors to sell PDF
ebooks and courses directly, but it is a shift to
see fiction authors selling DRM - free
ebooks from their
sites instead of directing customers to the retail stores.
Ebook promotion

seeing big increases in total royalties since the Kindle Unlimited switch to pay - per - page.
