I am results - oriented, and
seeing how I have been able to transfer my ability to
set goals
in the
gym and apply them to the rest of my life is really incredible.
That said, no matter how you're feeling on any particular day, you'll
see way more progress if you try to think «Let me give just a little bit more» each time you
set foot
in the
gym.
You may be
seen people
in gym noting some down
in the notebook they are simply tracking the volume of their
sets and you could do the same.
If you were to visit any
gym anywhere
in the world, it is still possible to
see the majority of people training their abs with
set after
set of high repetition exercises despite the fact that they wouldn't train any other muscle this way.
The same thing applies to everyone; it is fine to take an extra second or two off before beginning the next
set, but when the
gym is crowded, and you
see people around you waiting
in the queue it is better to take turns as it will help you and others stay
in a timeframe.
This is one area you don't often
see people foam roll and doing so
in a public
gym setting may attract curious eyes, but don't let it hold you back.

set a challenge with a couple of my training partners at my
gym to
see who could do the most repetitions of bodyweight squats
in 5 minutes.
