And those goals all came in four of the games, as we failed to score against Stoke City, Chelsea, Southampton, Hull City and Barcelona, so it is not too hard to see why we have slipped off the top of the Premier League and are looking at another Champions League exit at the first knockout stage.

It will be very interesting to see if we can scare a record - breaking team like Bayern Munich just as easily, but it is far more important that, whatever the result on Tuesday, we go into next weekend's game against Everton with the same attitude we have had in the League recently, and go and kill those Toffees off too!
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off

I don't know what games you have watched, but Monreal has done a great job as for Bellirin his last game was his best and full backs have cover from centre backs watch and see Monreal cover for Gibbs going forward and also for Mertisacker Remember Sagna covered for centre backs too and never had a bad game they seem to play better as more room inside to play from Stop picking on Monreal without him we would be in the s,,,,, pick on Wilshire cost us the game against United.
But I can't complain, the whole team was half arsed all game apart from The Coq and Monreal... Arsene is too stubborn to change his ways and I feel sorry for him in a way but he has brought this on himself, I don't see Arsenal with any tactics or game plan anymore its insane and to think our next prem match is away to Liverpool, his loyalty to players is stupid and the mentality of those players must be coming from him and his nervous way on the sideline does not help, he has lost the dressing room I feel.
why was Sanchez truly playing... no one believes he was too injured to play to start the season, and some like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured at all... so why play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans because when was that ever a factor at this club except when «panic buys» were in the offing... I believe that this was to give Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team with the greatest chance to secure 3 points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really watch the game know that his heart hasn't been truly in it for quite some time... even at the end of last season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who played for Chile and the one that played for Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame on you Arsene and shame on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... I've supported your attempt to push this squad to the next level but don't pretend for a second that you didn't know you were being watched... don't lower your standards or you'll end up like this club, on the outside looking in
I like isco, but I like him at Madrid for now... do nt think he has the physicality at the moment to fit into the pl... he'll be the perfect replacement for carzola but for now might be too soon and too much of a luxury to have at arsenal... jack needs to have some time next to le coq and lets see how that works.i guess jack and Ramsey got ta fight it out for that position, though Ramsey always seems to come a across as inconsistent n not as naturally talented as jack... ramsey will always have the odd off game with his passing and decision making.jacks seasons mostly get interrupted by injuries though I thnk he would do well alongside le coq... a backup dm would be great though in transfer window and OT: Get dyabala or watshisname... before Maureen gets his hands on him!!!
Would Henry have missed the shot Giroud has, and Im not just talking about yesterday (Re the Monaco game as just one example) Walcott goes missing and seems terrified of getting too involved in tackles or any rough play that goes on and is NOT a natural striker, Welbeck has a lot of heart but just does nt have the talent, Sanchez is knackered, Ozil is getting fed up with it (look to see if he wants to go elsewhere this summer) Ramsey is missing in action too and looks unlikely to pull himself out of this rut any time soon, belerine looks jaded Mertsaker is too slow and Gabriel too stupid........
I do like him and I think he is often criticised too harshly as people do not appreciate what he does for the team but I would still like to see him have a bigger influence, especially in the really big games.
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real change to occur at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
You are delusional my friend Far more bad games in big matches then good games He exerts more energy throwing his arms up in the air after losng tge ball then he does playing Too many 5 and 6's rather then 8 or 9's Right now he is an average player in a bad team Right now he needs to stand up and be counted but all I see is a player hidng
Again, i see and agree with your pint but that was too many changes in a lineup for a UCL game
Callum Wilson, at 23 years of age, he is developed enough to start, whilst also having time to improve, he has already scored 4 this season all coming in his last 2 games, he has decent pace and seems very composed in front of goal and he averages just 2 shots per goal, one big plus about this deal would be that he would not be too expensive, playing for bournemouth I could see him coming for less than # 10million.
The worst thing that Arsenal could do after our last Premier League game saw a much more committed and determined team than most people expected away to Chelsea, would be to slip back to the bad old ways we have seen way too often in recent years.
So after that ramble about how Wenger can't drill players, I want to see our young defenders go out on loan and get that side of training before it is «too late», Wenger isn't leaving before his contract is up and by then it could have cost us millions, loan out Holding ASAP to give him game time and confidence while being drilled in how to defend.
Arsenal f.c is in the top 6 biggest clubs in europe and as such requires to be competing at all fronts not just competing for the F.A cup only. And with arsene wenger as manager that is just impossible.Fans are loosing wives cause of bets made, commiting murder when they are taunted about arsenal f.c loosing a game and also commiting suicide cause the pain is too unbearable. As you can see we are very passionate supporters so for every game its a matter of life and death. In a way an old dog can't be taught new tricks.
I don't like the way you guys keep hoping to see Per start in the game against chelsea rather than Gabriel Paulista... He is strong & light footed too — he kinda does a better job than Per IMHO
Sure we lost too many games to naive defending driving forward with disregard for team shape and defending in previous seasons but I don't recall the lack of effort we have seen this year in so many games, it's scary, it's over for Wenger.
We have seen in recent years that Arsenal can be a little bit guilty of looking over our shoulders and either worrying too much about the teams chasing us in the Premier League or perhaps allowing a little bit of complacency to creep into our game.
