For all his talents, Tim Burton does tend to repeat himself, and you can often
see in his trailers which of his own movies he's stealing from.
There is a scene
you see in the trailer which is also in the film, where Giancarlo Esposito's character Jorge, hangs up upside down and that's really us hanging upside down.
Not exact matches
If you've
seen any of the
trailers for John Krasinski's new horror film A Quiet Place (
which he stars
in and directed), then you know that the plot revolves around a family that must live
in silence to avoid detection from some sort of evil force.
Blink is a new character
which comic book lovers will know, but besides blink, there are many other new characters
in the new X-men, you can
see all the characters online or on the
trailers on YouTube.
(The Brazilian
trailer uses a lot of «Lunch»,
which must've confused viewers who didn't
see any of that material
in the released film.)
There's the
trailer you might have
seen,
in which a deadly foe shatters Thor's supposedly unbreakable hammer.
The actress can also be
seen in the latest
trailer,
which was released after the opening panel at the San Diego Comic Con on Thursday.
Now a new international
trailer has surfaced that's almost identical to the previous domestic
trailer we
saw, but there are some bits of new footage of our heroes showing off their powers (
which we also
saw shown off
in a new commercial).
You can
see the Metal Gear Solid 5 torture scene,
which features the mute, bikini - clad sniper Quiet,
in the game's extended E3
trailer below.
Also, interestingly, this meeting takes place on the ruined orange - hued world we
saw prominently
in the first
trailer,
which we now know is actually Titan, Thanos» homeworld.
The way the
trailer's cut implies Gamora is talking to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), but it's clear Gamora is onboard the Guardians of the Galaxy's ship, while Tony's footage asking about Thanos» name is from inside the Sanctum Sanctorum,
which makes sense, since we've
seen footage of him hanging out with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) before the giant ring - structure's arrival
in New York.
Perhaps the most memorable reveal comes at the end of the
trailer when we
see Charles with his classic bald head,
which Patrick Stewart's older version of the character is so well - known for having
in previous X-Men films.
Not only does it give us an idea of the movie's story, scope, humor and impressive set pieces, it also confirmed that Wade's ragtag team,
which we
saw in the previous
trailer, is X-Force.
