Winter is a perfect time to
see migrating whales off the shore of California.

see migrating whales, and an abundance of birds and other wildlife on and off shore.

seen is the Gray
Whale, which
migrates along the coast twice annually.
And if you visit between July and September, you'll have a chance to
see humpback
whales migrating in the waters along Australia's east coast.
Also

whale migrating south.
From here, you can gaze down on Pandawa Beach,
see Nusa Penida on a clear day, catch the sunset, or even spot a
migrating whale.
From the apartment balconies, dolphins and
migrating whales can be
seen passing by.
Several
whales seen off Sakhalin and on Kamchatka Peninsula are confirmed to
migrate towards eastern side of Pacific and join the larger eastern population.
The

Grey
whales migrate past our beaches in the spring and fall, but resident grey
whales can be

Bottlenose dolphins and

whales migrate down from their Alaskan home waters to calve in Magdalena Bay from January through mid-March, so this is the only window to

And once I had
seen the «fins» — the
migrating humpback
whales that stop by on their way to and from Antarctica each winter — it was time to explore the rest of what Fraser Island has to offer.
During May — November, you might even
see the dark shadows of
migrating humpback
whales and minke
whales or a pod of playful dolphins.
Then, hike up Bodega Head with a pair of binoculars to
see if you can spot
migrating gray
whales in the surf.
The launch pad for World Heritage - listed Fraser Island, Hervey Bay is best known for its
whale watching adventures and there's a number of tour operators who take visitors on expeditions to
see the
migrating humpbacks.
