I've been acting as a bit of a fly on the wall of this blog for a few weeks now, but I
saw this
cartoon, felt my heart break, read the comments, felt my heart break even
more, slept on it, woke up with a still - aching heart, and so thought it appropriate that I break my silence.
That
cartoon may be theologically correct, but many of the fundamentalists that I have met are
more interested in
seeing those that they judge to be «sinners» go to hell rather than heaven to satisfy their concept of Divine justice.
Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite Disney
cartoon, but I always believed the moral to be the usual lesson around beauty being
more than skin deep,
seeing beyond the exterior, not being superficial.
But I think that if the
cartoon offends a person, I would guess that it's because it could be revealing that they really
see the church building as
more than just bricks and timber.
We're much
more comfortable serving our pets Fancy Feasts or
seeing them chase one another with comically large weaponry in Saturday morning
cartoons than we are with serving them up for dinner.
Luiz does have his qualities but being a disciplined defender is not one of them and if the Gunners go with the pace and movement up front of Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and our new Spanish striker Lucas Perez I can
see Luiz getting in such a mess that he will look even
more of a clown than his
cartoon lookalike «sideshow» bob from The Simpsons.

seen, from young romance Technicolor melodramas to Mario Bava horrors to Looney Tunes

more, blended into a surreal puree and poured into a funhouse of cinematic delights.
Even though it's a little
more cartoon - like and laden with puns,
seeing Capcom flesh out the world here with a recurring cast of characters is intriguing.

Fans of the bizarre

see more of them in any format and a monthly comic will keep them appeased between seasons.
While this is one of the
more tame

more cartoon - like visuals of 1988's Super Mario Bros. 2, which seemingly built upon the groundwork already laid by the development of Super Mario Bros. 3, the latter being released in Japan only a couple of weeks after the renovated sequel hit stores in the States and waiting until 1990 before

We haven't watched too many
cartoons featuring Norse mythology, but the hand - drawn, action - exploration game, Jotun, makes us want to
