Admiring is definitely something worth doing in this game — Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has a lot of wide - open spaces that are richly detailed, a feat which is always impressive to
see on a handheld console.

on the Switch, the next best thing would be for Tropical Freeze to make its way onto the

While sharing Modnation Racers content from Vita to PS3 using cloud storage was impressive, far more exciting was
seeing Yoshida playing LittleBigPlanet
on the
handheld with a friend playing LittleBigPlanet 2
on the
console.

console comes with one of the fullest selections of in - built software
seen on a
handheld system, and to begin with I actually found myself playing with these features more than Street Fighter.
I was just ticked to
see these remakes
on the
handhelds since I already owned the
console versions of each, plus I had Super Mario All Stars, the definitive remake collection of the Mario Bros games.

on the NX... with the NX being more powerful than the Vita, and Wii U.... if it use the Tegra 2 chip it will be right next to ps4 1.8 teraflops or higher, but most likely if they use that, Nintendo might underclock it to increase battery power, but lets say they lock it to ps4 1.8 teraflops... every game for ps4 will be
on the NX... and this is where the fear comes from... the 3ds have many exclusives, only thing that hold it back was graphics, now that wont be the issue in the NX... look how they announce Dragon quest 11 for NX already... Square Enix is thinking about money... and which
console sold most of their games... the 3ds... so do not be surprised every big game from Square Enix and other Japanese developers come to the NX... and if they are anything like CAPCOM they will rather save money and make their game for one
console aka the NX like they do with Monster Hunter... me personally I can not wait to
see all my favorite games
on the 3ds in better graphics... i am a RPG lover and the 3ds have some classics that I love... only thing Nintendo have to worry about is how Western and European side of the world will feel about the new
handheld... Japan will love it,
handheld sell the most, so it wont take long for NX to pass ps4 sales... but if they can get the attention of western and european... then Sony have reasons to worry and their fans
I would easily say that the PlayStation Vita's biggest strength is its ability to play
console - quality titles
on a portable platform — while it's always good to
see games developed specifically for the
handheld platform, I think the way to the future of gaming is one where
console and portable gaming are interchangeable.
Thanks to the Switches» enhanced power when in comparison to 3DS, it's more feasible that we'll
see GameCube and Wii games (and anything older) running
on the
console /
handheld - hybrid, with no technical difficulties.
Consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 still hold
on to their premium price points at this late point in their lifecycle and therefore there is little incentive to purchase a 7th generation
console at this point whereas 8th generation
handhelds such as the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita are
seeing the majority of their audience move to mobile gaming.
Dedicated
handheld sales have been decreasing each year and even the 3DS, the leading
handheld console this generation, is tracking considerably behind its predecessor and even with a «NEW» 3DS launch this year is
on track to
see lower sell in for 2015 vs 2014.
While I didn't get to
see it in action, there's also a
handheld 3DS version
on the way, which I was told had the same narrative as the
console version, but made into a 2D side - scroller for more accessible gameplay for children.
The game is also making it's way to the fastest selling
console of all time, Nintendo Switch, it'll be amazing to
see how the Unreal Engine 4 developed game will look
on the spectacular
handheld device, and it is in dire need of another racing game especially if it's combat oriented.
Without a home
console to support, Nintendo will likely focus more
on their excellent
handheld games and publish
on other
consoles, a small sliver of which we're
seeing even now as Nintendo recently announced a deal to get their massive backlog
on mobile platforms.

Sony, however, has not given up
on their precious little
handheld just yet and they do have a few tricks up their sleeves to
see if they can get the momentum they need to keep the Vita from becoming just another failed
handheld console.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss helps move the franchise in a solid direction for a
handheld market and I hope to
see more of these games appear
on the
console in the future.
As a series that has a history of being
on handheld consoles such as the 3DS, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp actually feels right at home
on a small mobile phone like my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, but for the players who want a bigger screen to
see all the action, all at once, then a tablet is the best way to go as playing
on an iPad 2 is a complete different experience, but because I haven't asked or answered, just what is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, besides being a mobile instalment?

Our Take Personally, it's fantastic to
see Monster Hunter: World do so well — the once niche «hardcore» title making what amounts to a mainstream debut
on the core
consoles once more after being relegated to the
handheld space for so long.
However, since many of Wada's most recent games were predominantly released for
handheld systems, it will be interesting to
see how Little Dragons Cafe comes to life
on larger
consoles.
