If the thought of diving doesn't appeal, you can also simply go
along for the ride — you'll still
see sharks up close from the comfort of the boat.
Along the entire route, you may
see various species of
sharks, rays, turtles and many tropical fishes.
Scorpionfish, Ribbon Eels, colonies of anemones with their resident clown fish
along with giant Bumphead Parrotfish and passing Blacktip Reef
Sharks are a few of the things that you can
see here.
Drive
along the Garden Route, and you won't go more than an hour or two before
seeing a sign advertising zip - lining, camel riding, ostrich riding,
shark diving, paragliding, mountain biking, whale watching, or port tasting.
However they are the best place in the area to
see large pelagics — big barracuda schools, reef
sharks and tuna are common, with occasional dolphins, mola - mola and even hammerhead
sharks if you are lucky,
along with luscious hard and soft coral gardens.
There were a lot of eagle rays
seen swooping
along the reef and even a tiger
shark was spotted in the open ocean.
When the water is clear you can
see them swimming around
along with fish, leopard
sharks, dolphins, and seals.
Along it, Pygmy Squid, huge school of Sardines, Morey Eeel, Coconut Octopus and Eppaulette
Shark were
seen!
Nevertheless, this dive was also the first opportunity the guest had to
see the Epaulette (walking)
Shark along with a free swimming Fimbriated Moray.
Barracudas, trevallies, reef
sharks and tunas hunt
along these walls, and Elphinstone is also one of the best sites to
see the fearsome oceanic whitetip
shark.
You could be sailing
along and
see the allure of a treasure chest on some remote island, decide you want to hunt a whale or
shark, pull out a treasure map, or maybe you want to cause chaos and take down other ships.
Will
seeing the other states that share the coastline
along the Pacific finally push California into doing the right thing by
sharks?
