Rarely - seen art works inspired by nature have been selected by Turner Prize nominated painter Lynette Yiadom - Boakye for an exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery this spring.
On a visit to Berlin this spring I went to the Martin - Gropius - Bau museum to see their tremendously well staged Kosmos Farbe exhibition, in which the two Swiss - born Bauhaus masters Johannes Itten and Paul Klee's work was carefully arranged to allow for comparison and contrast.
So it was heartening to see sprung floors installed at spaces like the Museum of Modern Art for Yvonne Rainer's new work in July; the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston for its current Black Mountain College exhibition; and the Whitney Museum of American Art in its new theater.
