supplementary data did not change the result, however: On the one hand, IQWiG
sees an indication of an added benefit from longer overall survival here.
We collected weather
data at the field site (Hobo Weather Station, Onset Computer Corporation, USA;
see the electronic
supplementary material for details).
The model was validated using the Monte Carlo simulation based on the fitted model and computing an empirical semi-variogram with the residuals, obtained by fitting a standard logistic regression with simulated
data and predictors (
