When they «man up» by committing personal fouls, late hits or retaliating (which is all the
refs ever seem to
see), it just costs the team yards,
points and wins, and allows the
refs to feel justified in the way they dole out penalties unfairly against them.
We were up 10 in the early 4rth and remember the defense giving the offense the ball back... That was the time in the game when you put your foot on their throats... You play with all the energy and passion in the world and you put the game out of reach with a touchdown or even a field goal... You don't play not to loose, you come out aggressive as hell... Come out 5 wides with grant in the slot or something crazy that theyve never
seen the whole game and you shredd their asses... You don't keep it close at that
point because Brady will make plays and
refs to as well to beat you.
Its a pity but that's what we need form an Arsenal captain - we should've surrounded the
ref when Kos went down... that would've distinctly
pointed to the
ref that Cost was stiring Sh!t... As for AW, he was just telling it as it was — the
ref was weak... I (f everyone else can
see it, why must the FA charge him (AW).
If
refs an assistants are going to go against the rules what's the
point of even watching games on the TV let alone travel and pay hard earned cash to
see goals disallowed for being an inch or so offside?
The red was an over reaction, you could
see the
ref just dying to make a
point.
On the radio call ins a caller called in to
point out the contrast between the referees getting aid from technology in the Rugby, before flicking over to
see players arguing with the
ref in the football, wasting more time etc. then in the rugby.
The worst for us out of the three possible results is Chelsea winning because it puts them 5
points in front of us but it'll still mean we're second plus there's the added delight of
seeing manure beaten which is always a joy and then reading fergsuscum's pathetic bleating excuses in the papers the next day in which, no doubt, the
ref will will be blamed.
It can be quite distracting (or amusing) to debate the issue with people like Tom who usualy
see or choose to interperet something different to real events — but that is not important — the important
point is that the
refs need to get the decisions right in real time — they are not doing that and the denial of the aid of technology by the PGMO is incomprehensible.
