So far I have
seen a several animal shapes
too... a
turtle, a snail, and a bear.
There is a nice dropoff (not
too deep), plenty of coral and we
saw multiple
turtles here.
There's excellent underwater action off southerly Glover's Reef
too, with pristine coral and chances to
see turtles and manta rays.
When you
see the
turtles, make sure you do not get
too close for that photo shoot because the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle is a federally protected animal and they can not be handled or harassed in any way.
Saw turtles, sharks, barracuda and
too many other fish to mention.
Turtles are sometimes
seen too, and the variety of soft and hard corals makes for very nice diving, and the topside scenery around Phi Phi is quite impressive
too!

Though
turtled aren't known for their expressive features, it doesn't take a degree in marine biology to
see that the gentle ocean denizen is none
too happy to have bumped into the commercial diver — almost as if it knows of the dangers brought about by such oil and gas platforms.
