Slick ads espousing the wondrous delights of new tech products are all well and good, but occasionally it's nice to
see videos of a device being used in the real world that show people coming to grips with it — or not, in the case of the amusing clip above.

We're
seeing a gigantic spike in the amount
of video consumed over mobile
devices; it's something like 75 % year - over-year growth.
If you've owned an internet - connected
device over the last couple
of years then you've likely

videos using USB2CAN, I decided to get one
of these, I ordered the cabled to go with it to connect the

I really had not expected the Vox to be able to play the
video without any lag... took me aback The
video (s) I used are ones that I know will push a
device's processor and have
seen it lag when played on a number
of other tablets, ereaders, and netbooks in various stores, so when they played well on the Vox I am now even more curious about the Vox as a potential purchase.

Here at DEVCON, there's a lot
of hype for the
device and if you go ahead and watch the keynote streaming, you'll
see how excited all the developers and press were when the teaser
video came on.
The mobile
devices we expect to
see are Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, as well as smartphones like Sony Xperia Z3 and Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, all

I suppose Sony hopes to keep our attention with these
videos until then, but by the time that Fall rolls around, we might begin to
see Kal - El
devices which will likely blow these tablets out
of the water.
To test the 1080p
video recording, we shot footage
of passing traffic; we
saw some pixelation, but overall, the
device kept up with moving cars without much motion blur.
In the leaked
video we just posted
of the BlackBerry Storm 3 Monaco, we
see that the
device is Verizon branded right on the back.
This one is pretty easy: Amazon published a teaser
video for this event a few weeks back and you can
see the top
of a phone - like
device about 42 seconds into it.
With the 1.3 - MP camera on the front
of the Xyboard,
video over Google Talk using the LTE connection wasn't quite FaceTime quality, but it was the best we've
seen from an Android
device.

In the past, we've
seen some images and even a
video or two
of this next generation Curve
device but it still hasn't been officially announced in any manner.
We found it worked well enough, but like so many
devices, it lacks a full run
of native
video codecs to tackle all the file types we had on our media server and at times it did seem to stumble, so wasn't as smooth as we've
seen on other similar services - Samsung All Share for example on their phones.

Both
see their
devices primarily for consuming massive amounts
of video, games, e-books and other media, which is best served over a low - cost Wi - Fi connection.
As you can
see in the above pic from the
video, the application is there and running on the
device but to outright comfirm preloading
of it shows that developers are certainly onboard and highly interested in what the BlackBerry PlayBook is bringing to the table.
Oh and just for the record, I'm a big fan
of Android, my phone's an EVO, and the only Apple product I've ever had is an iPod touch (16 GB - 2nd gen)... I liked it as a music /

device; but I don't
see myself buying anything Apple in the foreseeable future.

of people are streaming
videos these days, we think it's important to
see just how far a mobile
device will go when this kind
of activity is being done.
HTC has released a new
video showcasing some
of the features we've
seen on previous One
devices, but also some improvements that we can look forward to
seeing in the upcoming
device that's expected to launch on March 25th.
This
device is only going to be sold in Korea, which may be a disappointment to some, but this
