recipe when added either as a dry ingredient, replacing some of the flour, or as a wet ingredient, replacing or adding to eggs.
I only had flax

meal, so searched conversions and made the

meal for the ground almonds and left out the honey — plenty sweet for me with the applesauce.

meal instead of a side).
For single specialized
recipes (like Tiramisu and Super Greens), you'll need ingredients like rum, matcha powder, etc. - For the protein bars toppings / frostings, you'll need Greek yogurt, Neufchâtel cream cheese, coconut oil, various nuts and
seeds, caramel sauce (I used Date Lady ® Organic Caramel Sauce throughout the book because it's made from dates instead of sugar), 100 % fruit spread, ground flaxseed
meal, shredded coconut, quick cooking oats and quinoa flakes.
It takes a little more then 1 1/2 cups sunflower
seeds to make enough
meal for this

recipes ~ I just whipped this one up and made substitutions due to what I had on hand... added some hazelnuts to the raw almonds, used peanut butter instead of almond butter, whole chia
seeds instead of flax
meal, only had 1/4 c. shredded coconut but that was fine.
I don't kntw how this will turn out, due to using coconut flour, however, to make my daughter's
meals dairy free, when I substitute eggs, I use a flax egg (1 Tbsp flax
seed w / 3 Tbsp water for each egg called for in a
recipe, mix and set in fridge for 15 min b4 using).

In addition to the ingredients you have above I like to give it an additional protein and fiber boost by including ground flax
seed meal, cottage cheese or ricotta, and an egg which I toss in the blender to smooth everything out and then proceed as instructed in your

For the volume you are making above I would use: 1 Cup cottage or ricotta cheese 2 eggs 4 T flax
seed meal Although the flavor won't change much from your
recipe my granddaughter thinks it tastes like pumpkin cheese cake and it is the only way you can get her to eat oatmeal.
In this
recipe, raisins and flax
seed meal serve as the binder.

Everyone has their own favorite
recipe, but nearly all of them contain a few main ingredients: brewer's or nutritional yeast, wheat germ, flax
seed meal and whole (not instant) oats.
I may try replacing the wheat germ in some of your
recipes with flax
seed meal.
Been doing survey around for the
recipes and noted mostly people use flax
seed meal.
I doubled the
recipe, took away the confectionary sugar, added flaxseed
meal, muesli, chia
seeds, a little extra honey since I was adding more dry ingredients and pressed them into a cookie sheet to make them into bars.
Since I typically use chia
seeds as a thickener or added in moderation to
recipes and not as the core part of a
meal, I don't worry too much about their phytate content.
