recipe may call for pine
nuts, but pumpkin
seeds and sunflower
seeds are way cheaper.
I tweaked Aran's
recipe a little by adding pumpkin
seeds instead of pistachios and substituting regular butter with
nut butters and ghee.
However, since my brother is allergic to
nuts I made the
recipe free from
nuts by using pumpkin
seeds and sunflower
seeds instead.
I switched the
recipe a bit as I didn't have pine
nuts or coriander leaves so I put in 1/2 tsp of ground coriander and I was going to toast pumpkin
seeds for an added crunch, but I forgot to make them.
Sunflower and pumpkin
seeds also work well as a substitute for
nuts in my
recipes.

Hiya, in your book you mention that for
nut allergy sufferers you can swap
nuts for pumpkin
seeds when it's just one of a few ingredients in the
recipe.
I often find that pumpkin or sunflower
seeds work well as a substitute for
nuts but I haven't tried it with this
recipe before so I'm not too sure how it would turn out!
For example for this
recipe, the
nuts and
seeds amounts are different, I am a little confused... And also, there are loads of
recipes that are not on the app... Is it gonna be updated soon?

It combines peanut butter, honey, oats and grains, but feel free to use any kind of

recipes again, so we put our heads together and recreated our family's best
recipes without eggs, grains, dairy,
