I generally pack a salad, if it's winter a quinoa - carrots - hazelnuts with tahini
dressing and in summer tomato - pomegranate - cucumber with nigella
seeds and olive
oil.
I use the powder in my morning smoothie, mix the
seeds into my granola as well as sprinkling them onto salads and toast, and then I use the
oil as a cold
dressing in salads and dips so it is so easy to add it into your diet.
Though they make everything from wonderful
dressings, protein powders, to nut /
seed bars, today I want to focus on my absolutely favorite product in their line: the (I'm going to say FAMOUS) avocado
oil mayo.
The salad includes kale, red cabbage, broccoli, carrots, red bell pepper, avocados, parsley, walnuts and sesame
seeds, and the
dressing includes grapeseed
oil, lemon juice, ginger, wholegrain mustard, maple syrup and salt.

Make the
dressing: In a small bowl mix the avocado
oil, lemon juice, champagne vinegar, poppy
seeds, 1/4 teaspoon of Himalayan salt and ⅛ teaspoon of fresh ground pepper.
It's basically steamed kale, squeezed dry and torn into bite - sized pieces with a
dressing of tamari, ginger, sesame
oil, garlic and toasted sesame
seeds.

Later in the day, I threw together this salad with kale, cabbage, brussel sprouts,

seeds, scallions, ginger, Melinda's extra hot sauce and a touch of sesame
oil.
